It’s a little east of Washington, NC. Right past Bath.

I watched the first half of the Pender / N. Moore game on NFHS. Pender is a physically big team. They towered over N. Moore. Maxpreps shows 3 players @ 6'2", 2 players @6'4" and one at 6'5". They look more like a basketball team. The team appeared undisciplined to me. They were chippy - picking up personals by throwing players to the ground and mouthing off at the opposing coaches. The offense is a basic triple option. I could not get a good feel for the team speed. Northside will be an interesting match up but my gut feeling is that Pender will take care of business. Time will tell.

Pinetown is a lot better than what they showed the Wallace Rose-Hill fans this year. Physical/disciplined football team. Tough home field in the middle of nowhere ….and a long haul for Pender. I’m taking Northside.
