Does this mean we are going to win next weekend?
This was the guy they hired after Kirk was fired.

God no. We already went through that torture. I never wanted to pull my hair out more than when he was here. Shut gun with 4th and inches, no need intermediate passing game. Constant slow hand offs and slow getting plays off.
You mean our offense this year 😂

We have a stud running back and an amazing OL coach making him look decent to any RU fan desperation bowl game to settle for mediocrity.

Give credit to PSU for making a change and realizing they need to be better!!

I’ve noticed his formations are easy to figure out and defend. No motion, no deception nor creativity

I hope they really open up the O and just let it fly. Do not run the ball.
2 Pick sixes will be our ticket to victory. Not confident our offense will get it done, but then again, still wondering why we looked functional against Ohio State and Iowa dropped the boom on us.

as long as blaming others will keep his job, others will lose their jobs
It's the American way of corporate life. Fail upwardly to the top, make the underlings suffer for your failures. Laugh all the way to the bank while the peasants eat crumbs.

I really thought that Melton should’ve had a pick 6 at the end of half against Iowa. Seems like he jumped it too early.

It seems that the only qualifications he had was that he will run whatever Schiano wants. Why you think he was hired weeks after most of the good OCs were hired last off season?

That’s how every HC / OC dynamic is. It’s who he wanted all along because the Golden Gophers have been a successful run game team.

Would PSU be interested in an "instant inpact" OC?
His credentials include being "the greatest OC ever" for a particular Big Ten school.
He could start this week probably.

If you need further references, I'm assure @Knight Shift would oblige.

Headline should read: Franklin throws another coach under the big blue and white bus.
Who the hell would want to work for this guy, I guess thats how you keep the wolves away from your door just blame everyone else, I wonder what A__hole keeps hiring the duds?

One reporter thought that the problem only was that he bobbled it -- otherwise he would have gone all the way. It did look that way to me on the highlights.

Franklin still has 7 years or so on his contract. He's not taking the fall for a few years. That would make me weary of being a coordinator at State Penn since they aren't going to be conference champions any time soon and that's the expectation in Happy Valley.

The motion and misdirection in Kansas’ offense was always fun to watch. Could be a good one for Franklin.

Have you seen his coaching tree?
5 have gone on to be FBS head coaches including 2 being hired to P5 schools.
4 position coaches are coordinators Miami, Florida, Tennessee and Virginia Tech
1 is NFL offensive coordinator.

That is not bad for 9 years.
