to tie it up there at the end. I'm pulling for the Pens to win the Cup, but I just don't see that happening the way they've been playing on the road in this series and the way they really got dominated tonight. Sid the kid needs to step up and freaking do something. He's pretty much been shut down the whole Finals but the Wings are pretty damn good defensively. Hopefully the Pens can keep it close and then somehow pull it out. I just don't see it though.

I'm hoping, like you said, that Crosby will finally have that great night that he hasn't had so far in the finals. And that Fleury forgets Game 5. He was huge tonight, especially that save with about 1:30 left.

I like both teams, so I can't decide who I want to win. I'll be happy either way. Too bad the NHL Commissioner, Betts, is battling it out with Tagliabue for worst Commissioner in sports. They could really parlay some of these teams and series into serious positive exposure, hopefully a bigger tv deal, and fan growth with just a little bit of marketing effort. There are a whole lot of really good young players in the league as a whole right now.

I'm not gonna get too excited, after the letdown of the game 7 between the Pens and Caps. and the way the Pens looked Saturday in the Joe. I will be watching from a tavern that will allow me control of one TV prior to seeing Saliva play.

the effort put forth to stop Detroit while the goalie was out of net was incredible. those 3 saves were amazing.

Kudos

I'm a Flyers fan but I'll take the Pens over Detroit any day...they're like the on-ice equivalent of the Braves for me...
