the RB's are causing the fumbles by trying to clamp down when he is clearly trying to pull it...

Lee is doing what he is taught by the coaches and that is the way the play is supposed to be run...

Shut the 17 up when you don't know what hell you are talking about

If he puts it in the RB's belly, it should 17ing stay there through the end of the play. I don't give a 17 what the 17 he's reading. If he's reading keep, it's the wrong read no matter what. He's not in high school any more.

last reply to you because I dont like long conversations with retarded people-

He is supposed to stick it in the RB's belly as he makes the read- he is supposed to pull it if the end collapses down the line to pursue the play- he made the correct read...

It's pretty well documented in the games he's played, if we are going to lose, let's get someone experience. If the running back has that tight a grip on the ball, he shouldn't pull it out and cause fumble.

Exactly, some people find a way to win, some find a way to lose. Tyson Lee is a loser. We are going to lose as long as he is our QB. Thank God he is a senior.

No idea if it's true or not, but if the RBs aren't letting Lee option out, it could sure lead to some fumbles.

but this happens with every running back we've got. One time its dixon, next time it's stallworth. Seems like it happened with Ducre earlier this year. I don't care who's fault it is - it's getting old fast.

on I know how to coach the fuking play and I know how Mullen teaches it. Lee is making the correct play. Its the RB's fault for not releasing it

But c34 is 100% correct. On the zone read play the RB is supposed to let go if he feels the qb pulling the ball out. Chalk those 2 fumbles up to the RBs

are Seniors with 3 years under Crooms instructions on how to tuck a ball on a handoff. This is their first year of running zone reads.

Coach 34 your are an idiot. Lee is waiting to late to pull the ball out on his reads. I personally am tired of the midget 17ing our season up. I say let Stegall or Russell start playing. They can't be as bad as Midget.

This is two games he has 17ed us out of. Should at least be 4- 2 instead of 2 and 4.

the option dive read is not hard to execute and it seems this is happening with several of different backs. Hell, the option is run effectively in peewee football and for us it seems to have the same level of execution risk as a triple reverse QB flea flicker.

Lee turned it over once- on the INT...

the other INT should have been caught and bounced off the WR...and the RB's caused the other two fumbles...

How bout Dixon's two fumbles last week? This isnt all on Tyson

Actually, as usual, you are completely wrong. You don't know **** about how Mullen teaches anything. Lee if <17>ing up with multiple backs. The only consistent thing in our turnovers is Lee. To try to argue any other way is idiotic, which is why you are doing it.

How many games with 4 or 5 turnovers does he have to have to show he is not SEC QB material? I know we don't have any other options but damn....

Although C34 is correct to an extent, those fumbles are still on Tyson Lee. The RBs are clamping down when Lee is trying to pull it out, but that's because he is clearly trying to oversell his fakes. You can put some of the blame on the RBs, but ultimately the QB is responsible for the exchanges.

Burning his redshirt right now would be the dumbest call a coach could make. Lee is not playing that bad. The first interception was not his fault. The second he had nothing to lose with our new kicker. I am not really sure on the last fumble but Lee does pretty well with the tools he has. It is not worth it at this point to throw Russell out there right now. Hell everybody thinks Russell sucks anyway since he cannot beat out Lee.

that the RBs are clamping down on the ball too hard. You need a QB so when that happens they are big and strong enough to pull the ball out of the RBs belly. That's why I posted a topic saying I hope Relf did something bad enough to really deserve a suspension, bc I feel things could have been different with him today. Maybe they wouldn't be different, but this is the one game that he would have really been the better option at QB b/c we were running so much and basically at will.

"He's got to do a better job holding onto the football when he makes his decision. Be confident with the decion and make it.". "Really not that hard, either he keeps the ball or hands it to someone else".

3 minute mark of the post game presser.

Pretty much what I was saying in my post above. We need a QB that's big and strong enough, including big strong hands to pull the ball out of the RBs belly. That's where not having Relf killed us, but we will never know if that would have truly made a difference.

But everybody I've ever heard explain it has placed the responsibility on the quarterback. The back just makes the pocket. If the quarterback sticks it in, it's his. If he is gonna pull, don't put it on his stomach. You have to pull it quicker. Both of those were on Tyson.

I don't understand your man love for Tyson. He's a great guy, but his results have always been bad. Shouldn't a man crush be placed on someone worthy?

He is not capable of big pass plays. I wish we had a QB that could see Chad Bumphis running down the middle of the field behind the other team's safety.

Hey coach34 why does the box scores have Lee with 2 ints and 2 fumbles loss. So how in the heck can the running backs be at fault.
Please explain why it is running backs fault. All our turnovers were on Tyson Lee.
