The sky is falling, the sky is falling...

I'm not all that worried. As long as we don't get a bowl ban we can take a hit on a scholly or two, some self imposed restrictions, and perhaps Redmond sitting or leaving. Hopefully Redmond doesn't get punished in this since it seems like he didn't accept etc...

Correct. We have complied. We have done EVERYTHING the NCAA has asked of us. We will probably levy some sort of punishment on ourselves to appease the NCAA and show we are proactive. The only thing that can make a mountain out of a mole hill is MEDIA PRESSURE.

Let's just let this die down. Our own Inspector Clouseau's are what's keeping this afloat. Give it up already. Let the university and NCAA release information. Don't take it upon yourself to "connect the dots" and rumor monger.

I always wondered what it would be like to be a Auburn fan...now I know. We need to change our focus in the athletic department and recruit a top notch compliance department. That is where you win now-a-days. It isn't about following the rules anymore and being a clean program. It's about having people in the right places to be sure we don't get caught doing anything wrong.

your'e right about that. Joe Schad is known for digging through message boards to report rumors. Which is why he's wrong so often. When there is smoke on a message board it does not mean there is a huge fire somewhere. But that's how it is always reported.

I would also like to thank Penn State for making sure rivals can no longer throw out the word death penalty. We all know there is no chance of that anymore.

I agree coach, if the investigation is almost over and Redmond is still practicing, Mullen didn't seem worried about it yesterday, and we made a better WR coach hire than we had before this, then it seems to me that our university feels that it is in a very comfortable position with this. Joe Schadd and the Mitchell guy can throw out tweets that make it seem like the sky is falling, but the actions of our ultra-sensative compliance department says there isn't to much to worry about.
