If nothing else, Our team has a lot of confidence.

Oh, and I hope he's right because that'd take a lot of pressure off our secondary which could be suspect.

I hope we can get Carlos Thompson the DE from Hollandale Simmons to commit. He seems like he is the type of kid that will develop into a a great pass rushing defensive end.

on Carlos Thompson
If we have him and Kaleb Eulls together that could be the top D line in the nation after 3 years of hard work.

Fletcher Cox, Josh Boyd, Trevor Stigers, and Joshua Jackson are in that mix as well...

two unproven HS guys and some hard work (and if LSU, UF, USC, OU, among others, eliminate athletics) and we'll have the best DLine in the country

After watching our secondary get thrashed in the practices I'm feeling pretty worried about that as well. Ole miss and florida are going to abuse them</p>

One of the better D-Lines in the nation. Secondary, not so much (last in the SEC in pass defense). Teams couldn't run, so they passed more, making the secondary stats look worse? (for once I'm not being a smartass, and actually asking a legit question).

(you were 10th in the league in pass efficiency defense and last in passing yards defense) and the fact that your secondary was really, really bad last year. If the line hadn't gotten all that pressure on the QB, they would have really gotten torched.

from the DT postition, espicially coming in as a juco end. Now he may be great and cause double teams that free up other Dlinemen. We'll see.

saying that if you hadnt been as good as you were on the DL, your secondary would have looked like it was coached by Ron Cooper in 2003

Isn't that like sparring with a welterweight in preparation for a Tyson fight?
