I worked out there today. This has to be the premier high school stadium in the state. It is absolutely beautiful. I hate to go on and on, but Man! They are getting their 7M worth.

really nice digs for the sport that will always be second fiddle to baseball there (unless things have seriously changed over the last decade). I guess the days of getting dressed at the locker rooms out at the high school and then riding the bus to the middle school for the games are over.

I got a son, fixing to be in 8th grade, they dress in the old field house at the middle school. 66 boys in a 2000 sq. ft. building. It is about time they did something. Me NFHS '84

for a school that's never won a state championship in football ever, unless they were called something other than Petal at some point in history.

I looked everywhere online for the construction pictures, but apparently they've been taken down. Anyway, I found this one picture of Clinton's new stadium. What Petal did is almost an exact replica of what Clinton did a couple of years ago.

I may be a little biased, but I think that our new stadium and field are a lot nicer that what Clinton has, and no offense to Clinton at all b/c they have a great new stadium.

Im the PA guy for Petal's home football games, andour new press box is asamazing as our new stadium. We have the new field turf that everybody seems to be moving to, and walking on it feels great. There are also 3,000 chairback reserved seats on the home side, an HUGE field house in the south endzone in which there are bleachers facing the field for the band, and the team will come out of a tunnel below those bleachers. The stadium as a whole will hold 8,000 with plenty of room for standing room, and another thingI love about this field is there isnt a track aroundit so fans are right on the field.

FWIW our first two home games are both on Saturday nights August 21st and 28th vs South Panola and Oak Grove. Both games shouldhave HUGE crowds. South Panola will come in as the preseason number 1 in the state.

If you guys live around the Hattiesburg areaor in South Mississippi ingeneral come on out and check out our new stadium.

A new stadium was definitely needed back then-- not enough seats and not enough room. The new stadium looks nice.
