so Petrino is 3-0 against Stoops. I guess everyone is ok with losing to Petrino? Stoops is a good guy, but can he beat Petrino?
I have seen some asinine posts on this website, but LOL! This is too complicated for you, so I will explain it. In 2013, Stoops took over a program left over from a disastrous 2-10 season that got Joker Phillips fired in 2012. Stoops inherited a bad roster from Joker. Stoops was hired to rebuild Kentucky's football program. At this point, after 3 seasons, Stoops is 12-24, still playing with Joker's leftovers. So break out your calculator and you can figure out Stoops, so far, is pretty much getting beat by everyone except Spurrier. The plan is for Stoops to build a stronger program and win more games. Right? Either he will succeed, or else he won't. His strong recruiting classes suggest his seasonal records will improve. But in 2015, the overwhelming majority of Stoops' recruits were still freshmen and sophomores. So unless you were expecting Ryan Timmons and Blake McClain to lead Kentucky to an upset victory over Louisville, then why not wait until most of Stoops' recruits are juniors and seniors before declaring the superiority of Bobby Petrino? By the way, Petrino would not last 10 minutes in Lexington under the watchful eye of our pristine local newspaper.
