Severe and Dirk had a pretty good twitter convo on this decision ...Dirk was on the side of him maybe coming back to try to improve his stock and Severe was on the side of what does playing for a bad team do for a guy that should be ready to move on ....both have a point

I actually think his best option would be as a graduate transfer somewhere else. I agree he wouldn't help his stock much here next year, but I also don't think he's ready for the NBA. He should go to a place like Iowa State for his last year, a year in Hoiberg's offense could turn him into a first-rounder.

Who thinks this would be a bad team next year if he comes back? If you add White, Morrow, and Watson to what we have coming back, and those guys live up to potential, that's a top 6 Big 10 team for sure.

Who thought this year would be the dumpster fire it was, hell even Rhode Island rushed the court after beating us in Nov which in hindsight looks ridiculous...next year will probably be very average at best

Well, he was a 1st round prospect 12 months ago. I think he's got a chance. He'll go undrafted and sign on to Orlando & Las Vegas summer league teams. If he gets enough playing time, I could see him getting signed to a free agent contract. I don't envision him improving his stock with another year in college. It's time to give it a shot.

Good luck Terran! Hope he gets a shot and has a ton of success at the next level. It'll be nothing but good for him and his family, as well as Nebraska! I'd love for him to come back next year and help this Nebrasketball team get back to the tournament, but completely respect his decision; hope he kills it at whatever he does in the future.
