I don’t get why so many people want to live there. A brutally hot desert. No thanks. I have been in Tempe a couple times in July for work and it was pushing 115 degrees. Go out at 10 pm and it was still uncomfortably hot. Yuck.

It was 105 at the end of March for a week this year too.. Hell on earth. Attracts a lot of nutjobs like Charlie Kirk disciples and maga trash.

I have no desire to experience that kind of heat. Spent a couple of days around Flagstaff one time and it was really nice. Stayed at the foot of the highest mountain in the state shaded by big timber at a Nature Conservancy property. Really chill spot.

I have spent a bit of time in the Palm Springs, CA area for work and the difference between shade and direct sunlight was incredible. It is no wonder that all of the field workers are covered head to toe.
Phoenix in the Fall or Winter, yes. Summer, naw.

Only been in winter months, but I’m guessing it’s not far off from Vegas in the summer. It’s hot as hell, but you don’t have the humidity like in Florida

It gets hot at home, we get over 100 for several weeks a year. Sometimes over 110. But this sh.it is different. Even when we get that hot at home it’s towards the end of the day and drops into the 70s at night. Not here.
I’ll sit outside in the shade and read if it’s 100-102.
We are only outside here to get someplace blasting ac.
