The games are better, still not great, but best of all they’re not all ACC. Only 3 from that Tobacco Road conference and none involve Cuse, GT, or Wake. I put more than 10 cause we could have some COV19 cancellations — never know

Just some of my reasoning for the 3 acc games I did put on the Slate.

I think the Vile will beat North Korea. I don’t like either school but anytime Notth Korea LOSES, I am a little Happier. As close as I can get to HATE is how I feel about them.

FSU @ the U is nostalgia. For most of the 80s and 90s, this was THE GAME, it was a big game for college football. Like 1/4 of the national championships during that time was from the winner of this game. Yeah they were both cheating like SMU (and still are), but it was still The Game. Now, NOT EVEN! The only other early season game I remember having so much interest in was FL vs Tennessee (and that didn’t come about til Spurrier in the 90s).

The NC State @ the Chokies is kind of like watching your old rival that miss playing. I’ll never like them and if I was to make my own conference or pick an annual schedule for WVU to play, they’d be on it every year (Maryland would too).

As for Wake Forrest being on the slate, barring a COV19 wipe out, it will be 2021 before they’re spotted here again. They don’t even get put on for rivalry week.

I despise Vtech Turkeys....the most. Their fans are a bunch of douchenozzles, their colour combo is hideous, and their fans actually still believe they are good....for some inexplicable reason. Funny enough I had to pick them.... sad times....

Check your texts.

I dont line Tech..... at all but they at least have fans (some are real AHoles) and a good stadium environment and it’s entertainment to play them. It’s like Maryland except more fans and a better opponent. Those 2 would be on our schedule every year if I was doing schedules.

Good Sunday Morning to all! Well, the good guys did not win yesterday, but it didn't stop 3 players from picking 11 out 13 correct this week. @SKYHAWKBALL , @WVUALLEN and @MichiganHerd all got there on the basis of 2 picks; Pitt/Louisville and ISU/TCU with Skyhawkball taking ISU and also winning the tie-breaker with OSU-35 points. While I'm at it I thought we should look back at the previous Pick'm season winners:

2016 - @countryroads89 - 69%

I didn't keep the tally for 2015, but someone remembers who won I'm sure. High 60s% and low 70s% range is what it takes to win, so keep plugging along week after week for the grand prize of.....Bragging Rights; which is the sweetest prize of all!

I’ve won 2 years. The 1st season and last season. With picking WVU every week there’s no way I win this year cause I see some tough days ahead.

I will try and have Week 4 by the end of the day or Monday.
