HPC at East: East has a home field regular season win streak dating back to almost 2011. East will bring its offense against a generous high point defense who is allowing on average 48 points per game.
East by 55
Ragsdale at NorthWest

Northwest is coming of a loss to 2-A Reidsville. I like Northwest by 17 but reoccurring injuries could spell trouble for the Vikings.

Glenn at undefeated Southwest

Southwest while undefeated hasn't really played a serious opponent. I think Glenn presents not a great but an mediocre offense and defense. Southwest by 7 but keep an eye out for a potential upset at Southwest

East Forsyth will be closer than the experts think in the 1st half. It will be close early but the east will pull away in the 2nd half
East 35 HPC 17

Glenn will show that playing a tougher non-conference schedule has better prepared them for PT4A play than SWG's. Is SWG a pretender or contender? That is the question....
Glenn 35
SWG 21

This game will depend on how many injured players are back for the Vikings. If Leonard, and a few others are out I think that Ragsdale can pull the upset with running back Drayton leading the way. If NW has Leonard back the Vikings can win this game. I will give two predictions based on Leonard being in the Vikings lineup.

Without Leonard at QB
Ragsdale 21
NWG - 17

With Leonard at QB
NWG 24
Ragsdale 21

I think the EF-HPC game will be a little closer than some think as well. HPC's not bad on the offensive end. They just have a less-than-stellar secondary (which shouldn't hurt them too much against an offense like East). I'll say East by around 21.

Glenn-SWG has the potential for fireworks. I don't see either of them stopping each other on a consistent basis. Two very good QB's will be squaring off. I think SWG RB Bryson Jumper could be an X-factor here. He runs hard and Glenn doesn't have the best run D. I'll take SWG by 7.

As for NWG-Ragsdale......I think if Leonard's still out, it'll be a toss-up. If Leonard's back, I'll say NW by 10.

I think SWG is a pretender.

I saw SWG about a month back when they played Southern Alamance. Although they won 55-7, I felt that it was more of a case of SA being awful than SWG being that good.

What the Cowboys do have is a very good QB, a pretty good RB, two speedsters, decent sized lines on both sides of the ball, and a very quick DE. They're a good, balanced team. I just don't think they have the overall strength to challenge and beat top-level squads.

To my understanding East forsyth will play no matter what and Northwest Ragsdale Glenn and Southwest all rescheduled to Monday

East forsyth absolutely demolished high point central. At half time it was 41-0 and some starters didn't even dress the second half. Four plays into the third quarter east forsyth made it 48-0. East limited HPC to 2 first downs and about 50 yards all night. Best performance all around I've seen by East in 6 years, yes I'm aware HPC isn't a great team but East looked special coming off that loss to page

I will agree with you on this one Forsyth. I didn't see HPC losing this bad to East Forsyth. HPC has played alot of good teams in this area and they have put up some really good offensive numbers they just haven't had the points to go with the yardage. Thats why I thought this game would be closer or similar to their game last season. Maybe a lost is exactly what East Forsyth needed. Sometimes teams get complacent when they win alot and have success.

Keep in mind, not only does East Forsyth get an extra day to prepare for Glenn not that they really need to prepare but extra practice is always good. Saw a fox8 segment of East head coach telling his players after the game they will all go to the Southwest and Glenn game since they play both of those teams next.

Being at the game Southwest has such a small stadium and no real crowd the players at east are gonna be able to pick up playcalls for both teams offensively and defensively and learn a great deal about both team. It's gonna be really hard for Glenn to turn around and prepare for East Forsyth.

Overall I think who ever takes this Glenn Southwest game will not only take second in conference. That team will get a much higher advantage in the state playoff seedings. Anybody gonna be at the Southwest-Glenn game or Northwest Ragsdale game?

I think the key thing here is if Northwest losses to Glenn, Ragsdale or HPC and in addition lose to Southwest and east like expected they could miss the playoffs. Northwest is a better team but with all the injuries I don't like their odds.

Didn't expect Glenn to blowout south west like that. Northwest bounced back, but not sure if Leonard played or not.

Glenn has somehow some way blown a 43-6 lead and with 5:06 left in Greensboro the score board shows
43 Glenn, 42 Southwest.
Glenn high school has just let Southwest score 36 unanswered points

50 Glenn 42 Southwest Final

Glenn dominated the first quarter and last two minutes of the game, Southwest dominated the third and fourth quarter. It was one of the most odd high school football games I've seen in a while.

One thing is for sure both teams can score, with a Glenn victory here I think the final conference rankings will look like this

East 5-0
Glenn 4-1
Southwest 3-2
Northwest 3-2 ( I think they lose to Glenn or Southwest. Overall record puts Southwest ahead of them.
Ragsdale 1-4 but could upset Glenn or Southwest
High point central 0-5

You also have to keep in mind you may see a good game Friday.

Glenn will have East Forsyth at home on homecoming with a virtually sold out stadium as East Forsyth makes the four mile drive to Glenn. Glenn is capitalizing on deep-pass touchdowns which they may have trouble doing against an East Forsyth defense which virtually allows no passing yards.

Northwest will travel to an struggling HPC team, this team has caused a few problems for some teams. Look for a slow start but 35+ point win for Northwest.

Southwest vs Ragsdale. After Southwest odd game Friday I'm not exactly sure who wins. Can't play the worst half of football and best half of football in once game

East Forsyth 62 Glenn 24

Glenn came out swinging, by after pretty much a rough first quarter, East Forsyth grabbed Glenn by the neck and was able to have much offensive success despite Beal sitting out much of the 1st half due to a leg injury. Eagles dominated the second half and could have scored more but chose to stop.

Ragsdale 20 Southwest 19

Southwest has recently been struggling, Southwest went on a 6-0 run to the start the season and lost the last two. Unfortunately for the cowboys they have Play at east forsyth next week. East Forsyth plays lights out football at home and has a regular season home win streak dating back to 2011.

Northwest 31 High point central 23

this is a win for Northwest but proves theories that the team will and should not be considered in the top three of the conference. They will lose by 21 to Glenn next week
