If another Big Ten fan tried to convince you a player on their team with this stat line was going to be a quality starter for them next season you would laugh in their face.

Paul is a mess right now. He is physically and mentally cooked. Add the fact that the form on his shot is way off. He is landing way to the left of where he starts his shot from.

Physically he May get better by next year. More concerned about his mental part of the game

He was an absolute mess to start last year. In the middle of the year he turned in to Magic Johnson.

This year he has been the same up and down. Right now he is really down.

next year we start Simpson with JaMike backing him up. Paul cannot be on this team next year. He's regressed to the point of being unplayable. At the end of his 4th season.

Ideally. But I want Derek to take the lead for this team next year. He's already shown a lot as fresh when given the chance. Not afraid of having the ball, driving, or shooting. He needs to add some weight over the summer but he's only a kid barely out of high school. That won't be an issue. With more experience, I think he becomes our guy.

Derek, Cam, Gavin, Mag, Cliff is not a bad starting 5 next year. With a more experienced Chol, Wolf, Ndongo, Davis, Oskar, and Transfers

His shooting numbers have gotten worse each year and I wouldn’t expect a huge jump from a 5th year player, but I do agree that I hope he’s doing okay mentally. I’d love to have him back in a toned down role as he’s given a ton for the university.

I think some of the criticism is starting to shift from performance to personal, and I don’t think the latter is fair.

I don’t see Mawot being able to help us, his injury will take some time to fully heal.
