Whenever Pitino passes away, so many places are going to be flooded with tears of so many who have Rick Pitino right up there with Jesus Christ in terms of importance. I can imagine some will be asking why flags won't be at half staff and why isn't it a national day of mourning.
Next year will be 30 that he left UK of his own free will. His era is fondly remembered by most, as it should be, but those days are over and he isn't going to bring them back.
