Yeah I had to grab a roll of toilet paper and blow the old nose and wipe tears the whole time. lol. It really got me and I’m so grateful it finally happened. Love you coach. My great aunt was the biggest Pitino fan of all time and is buried holding her signed picture of him. He deserves it.

I'm so glad this happened and Rick Pitino came back home. Lets celebrate the good times, all of the wonderful memories with Pitino here and more to come as Kentucky takes back their program. Coach Pope has tremendous respect for all of his accomplishments and that is good enough for me to have him back in the good graces of UK with everything Pitino has said about Pope since the hire.

That was amazing! So happy it finally happened! I’ve always loved Coach Pitino. His teams are what captivated me and made me a rabid UK fan. His teams were an absolute joy to watch. Thing of beauty!

The man literally took us from the outhouse to the penthouse in 2 years time. AND he did it with not a hell of a lot of talent. Best collegiate basketball coach of my lifetime. Better than K, better than Knight, better than any of them IMO. I’ll die on that hill.
