Guy posted on here that players almost came to blows, before the UL game. Makes sense with Pope’s weird comment, “too hyped up in the locker room”.

Well, maybe we could have used that tonight. There was very little fight out there
I can believe it. This team is a total mess.
Don't believe that at all. It wouldn't even make any sense that BEFORE our 3rd game without any losses, players are fighting. Let's use common sense.
Almost got into one tonight during a TO.. Pope had to step in and break it up..
Hope they can fight better then they can play B ball
Makes sense. They play like they hate each other.
They fight each other buy lay down for any decent opponent.
We don't compliment each other well and it compunds with no true healthy lead guard.
There is not a capable PG on the roster who's available.
I wish one time we could have more than one serviceable PG on the roster. Ab, chandler, oweh, Noah, and just about everyone else is much better off the ball. I would kill to trade BG and moreno both for Amari and give boot. no matter how aggravating Amari is for not dunking the damn ball he would eat any of our bigs

A lot of selfishness was on display tonight if you looked. Horrible body language, terrible shot selection just overall bad basketball. 31-19 game was over. Heads hanging, bad body language, ball hogging.
You’ve never been on a team before have you? Just day to day practice and being around each other is enough. Then take a couple guys hyped telling other guys they need to be hyped and calling them out. Thats enough.
Why does amount of games have anything to do if a bunch of kids like each other or not?

The players don’t seem to have enough fire in them to fight. Maybe they were arguing over a chess match.
Listen Pope only had $22 mill to spend. You can’t expect him to get at least two real PGs on the team. One with a bum shoulder is perfect.
My son goes to eku but hangs alot at uk with friends that go there and this was what was floating around campus after the UL game……oweh & Williams. But if players are after each other during the game, that’s a completely different animal and an absolute terrible look for the program.
We have a few guys always looking for theirs. And a few who wouldn’t pass it to certain guys if their life depended on it. That’s on Pope to fix or sit on the bench.
Listen it would make total sense. This team doesn’t like each other at all. And I believe Oweh isn’t up and up. Haven’t thought it since last season and just gonna say that. My opinion. I broke down a few games…..let’s just say I’m allowed to believe what I want and have hinted at that opinion since least season.
This team clearly doesn’t practice together or like each other. Massive miss by Mark at a time when you can’t have it. You just took a player off an SEC title team and the year before - a final four team. Those coaches are going to absolutely go ham on him in the off season.
Looks like the agents are going to say you’ll need to pay more if you want him. That’s my fear at this second. Golden is going to go all in on the trial.
Regardless of whatever happens and I’m in the belief that Mark can turn it, but in this climate I don’t know that he can mitigate this big of a flub at the worst time. Beginning year 2 and losing all momentum from last season. With 2 players you took off SEC rosters. Kentucky better throw a lot more money into this.
I also think this is going to be common now. These players don’t live together and they are rich now. We’re going to see bad teams a lot. Takes a special bunch to be 18 worth millions a still practice. Does it look like Oweh cares? Hell no. He looks good and manicured though. I’d park his mf *** on the bench no doubt. 100%.
Think of all the idiots who think giving them millions, then not living at the lodge together etc doesn’t matter. lol.
Wait what? Not sure what this means. Them not liking each other has nothing to do with wins and losses lol. This team clearly has issues together watch them.
You can tell they hardly celebrate on the bench or anything for each other.

This team has all the makings of an 8-6 start.
But, at least we have depth and stuff. Pope seems to think that's pretty groovy.
They have shown more fight pre-game amongst themselves then they have in two of our biggest games.
Use the energy using to fight each other and take it out on the opponent. If you can't do your part sit on the bench,.sit whoever you need to. Hell play Zach Tow and walker horn I don't care but pope needs to get it under control.
If oweh plays 5 min because he's selfish and wants to drive in and throw up slop over 4 people while his teammates are wide open then he would just become accustomed to the bench. Mo got 2 rebounds that's unacceptable thats the only thing he actually does well ..I guess Michigan State wasn't too small were they Mo? 24 couldn't catch a cold in winter barefoot like catch the ball or sit . I don't care if chandler plays center SIT.

Whoever the problem players are bench their ***. Be a coach damn it. These player’s are semi-pros now. If they want this as a career it’s time to stop cuddling them and hold them accountable. They were all paid handsomely to come here and play. As of now they have given pathetic effort and don’t even look competitive. As far as I am concerned they should not get paid until they take it serious.

Pope was hinting at them fighting and sort of getting close to admitting it so they’d see it. He needs to come out and call it to the media.
Send Oweh packing. Don’t trust him, I’ve thought he was sketchy for a while now. Surely mark sees it.
You can put together the most expensive team in the country and it won’t matter if the chemistry isn’t there
We have a few guys who are unselfish. Chandler, Moreno, Noah, Mo, Jelavic, & even Garrison tries to pass the ball. He just struggles mentally and is out of position constantly. The rest look like they’re trying to show out for a scout or try to get more mins.

Typically team chemistry isn’t gone before the 3rd game. We’ll just have to agree to disagree
That'll be the downfall of the team if that number is actually true. Can't spend that and get blown out and punked. The donors definitely won't be happy. Or if I donated a lot and the team looked like this I wouldn't be so inclined next time for sure.
ESPN literally just reported they were going at it tonight in the huddle lol, so I mean..
