Like kick him off? I am sick of him too, but that would choke off NIL from boosters going forward.
A team that was together could be trying to motivate each other and hold each other up, not fighting.

Oweh is probably pissed he’s not the highest paid. He’s not even trying to perform out there. I watched him for 5 straight tonight and didn’t take my eyes off. He put forth no effort. He’s been paid to perform and he’s going to pull this?
No way I’d send him back out there. He’s destroying the team in all likelihood. I just see no way around it that he’s the problem. Oweh is nothing like he was when he first came here. Not close.
And apparently it’s been tried to keep them together but they didn’t want it. I believe an attempt was made last season too.
I think the main issue is everyone is too high on the HOG now. Everyone on the roster except for probably the walkons make far more than the average person in the US. Noah I think made 250k his FR season. I work a respectable job in little ole Bell County KY (right down the road from Harlan) bringing in about 70k trent got 3.5 years of my salary to play a game plus room and board and all the perks of being a UK basketball player (and there are plenty) ..if he stays all 4 he will make about 14-15 years worth of my salary plus get a 100k+ degree. That's assuming he doesn't get a bump in his later years.
Now take someone like Oweh or someone that we've paid astronomical numbers (in the millions) they have their $. More money than they'll ever need if they're smart. What's the motivation anymore? Gone are the stories of so and so absolutely coming from nothing and busting their *** because they're trying to be something. I think NIL should be paid post season for that reason....I'd imagine if oweh and them keep it up they won't have no NIL to sell so their value would be tanked.

I have absolutely no knowledge about what happens with the team, but I’ve been wondering if Oweh is hurting team chemistry.
Nothing I’ve seen so far has really made me believe he’s great in the huddle.
paying players was always a bad idea. There’s a reason all of the coaches from back in the day and the NCAA didn’t let it happen. College basketball circles are flat out criminal scumbags. You give out of a bunch of money and chaos will come with it.
That system was always trash. And I don’t want to hear “it’s just not under the table now”. This game was NEVER like it is today. Cheating happened but low key and nothing to this extreme. If you did you were wiped out.
They were college kids who played the right way and were coached by men. They didn’t have money they had goals. This new version is trash. College football is trash too.

Nah you're right. When teams are getting blown out the players are always very calm and show no emotion.
Then why aren’t other teams just quitting?

Performance-based (both player and team) NIL contracts would be ideal if we have to live in this world, but why would any player go to a team that requires a certain performance level to get paid when they could go to another school and get paid regardless of performance?
Unless all schools implement performance-based contracts, trying to push that at a single school will certainly fail.
I have no idea about any of this, but it's clear that something is off with this team. I know BG isn't Kareem, but he had a little 6" guard on him, and they looked at him and didn't throw him the ball. Why? He could have at least gotten fouled. If there are players who are not getting along with each other, they should be put in a room together until they resolve their issues. If they can't, then they need to be put on the end of the bench until they work it out. The problem with what the UK is paying is that they are paying star-studded money to role players. No one on this team can carry this team. It will take every single one of them pulling on the rope together, or they will be remembered as one of the worst teams ever at UK. Their choice.
The f*ck is Garrison barking at anyone about? Guy is one of the worst players on our team who can’t make the effort to leave his feet to block a guard taking a jumper in his face or trying to grab a rebound that falls two feet in front of him. Guy is a giant wast of NIL money.

Yea he’s a complete doofus when it comes to coaching! I appreciate him single handedly bringing us a title. Guess it didn’t help him surrounded by the greatest team and coach in all of college basketball.
Playing on a champion and coaching one is totally different.
Let me be clear... I don't like the coaching this season so far. But last season wasn't bad so I'm not going to panick yet. And by your point, if this hall of fame coach names him team captain of this great team, that's something
BCG’s first year wasn’t that bad either. Sure he had over 10 losses, but he won a couple of ranked games too.
My point is he needs more rope before the eastern part of our state starts bitching. I'm sure there are others but hopefully the majority can give this guy some time. He can't control internal fights from our so called veteran "leaders". I'd kick Garrison off right now if I were him
I’d definitely feel better if I woke up tomorrow and saw that someone was kicked off the team. It would let me know he will do whatever it takes to fix it
