If there are problem children, Pope would immediately gain a lot of respect if he kicked them off no matter who they were and if we had to play walk-ons.

That’s honestly where I’m at. We saw Pope do better with less talent last year, because the team was better than its parts. There should be a come to Jesus or a roster cut today

Being a returning player and leader of the team, that shows Pope’s message or something has grown stale and he’s not getting thru to this group for whatever reason.
In these gimme games I’d play only the guys giving effort and who are willing to run the offense.
Hopefully Pope isn't that kind of coach who performs best when expectations are low.,
One of my friends who lives in Lexington said there is a rumor going around that Oweh banged Mo D’s girl and that him and Kam Williams fought before the UofL game. Makes sense with Kam’s PT and overall demeanor of the team. It’s the exact scenario I said I thought happened. The way the are acting it seems like it was personal like that.

Simple fix. Oweh should be cut from the team. Pronto. If it’s true, shouldn’t even be a question.
Edit: I’ll add…what kind of teammate would do that? Especially a guy that was being counted on as a senior leader? If Mark Pope has knowledge of this and hasn’t dismissed Oweh, I think that’s pretty pathetic.

Who knows if it is true even, but it is the kind of thing I could see causing this disruption this fast. I speculated last night that something like that is what it felt like so I wasn’t surprised when he told me this today. Women can bring down any group that is for sure.

I agree, not even top tier teams either. Maybe Louisville is but the other two are beatable regular large school opponents.
