How do they figure out who gets the home game if both schools have the same record?

Possibly. It all depends on the lower rankings, who gets in and who doesnt. Mitchell is the 2nd smallest team in 1aa, and East Surry is the 2nd eastern most team in the West. Alot can change by Saturday morning. Also, I'm pretty sure that numbers can still be adjusted up until 6am Saturday.

I can see that. I just broke down the 2a from smallest to largest in adms and that took forever. I just don't know from conference to conference who is in and out etc.

According to that Mitchell would go Big 1a and that 500 ish ADM will be the cutoff line.
Well scratch that is it’s using old ADM’s

Better get them Bears this year , next year will be somewhat competitive ( meaning ma by 14 to 21 or so ) but after that the cards have a long row to hoe from what I seen at the middle school this evening. I think this could be the best group I’ve ever seen come out of Ma middle. The bears are gonna be real good for several years to come

How come North Stanly is so low? They are a 2 seed right now in their conference. They are below some teams that are 3rd in their conf

The YVC is weaker this year than in years past and that might be why North Stanly is where they are.

North Stanly might get at least a 6 or 7 seed depending on if North Rowan is put in the East or West and home game in the first round if they win Friday night. They'll get an automatic bid for second place finish.

This is right here, right folks. There are alot of games to be played friday. Alot of these are based off MY predictions on who will win. Nothing is set in stone, so don't whine to me if you think your team is too low. I'm just trying to get it as close as to what the state will put out as I can. If I were picking some homered up fantasy bracket, I'd have Mitchell #1, and Tarboro and East Surry in 3aa...

I don’t see this as very accurate. North Stanly will be an automatic bid for 2nd place in conference. None of the following schools (South Stokes, Gates County, or Hobbton) will be able to finish 2nd In their respective conferences. I see North Stanly as a 6 seed and the others dropping. There is a good chance Hobbton could lose dropping them to a 10 or 11 seed

The differences between Mountie and Highschool OT projections in 1AA besides switching a a few seeds the biggest difference is HS OT has North Rowan in the East and CSD in the West at #12.
In 1A in the West they have Murphy #1 and instead of North Stokes & Allegheny they have North Duplin & Cherokee. In the East they have Rosewood #1 and Gates since they put North Rowan in the 1AA East which pushes Gates to 1A.
While these are just projections and you have to guess on some Friday night outcomes etc I think Mountie did a real good job and lot effort into this and I believe HS OT made at least one mistake he didn't. They have Bear Grass Charter #3 seed in the East but even if they win Friday night even though they are thier conference champions ( two teams) they won't have a .500 record and by the rules won't get an automatic bid and will be an at-large team. Maybe they'll notice and update again.

Mountie predictions is more accurate....highschool ot doesnt have albemarle or north stokes listed anywhere....mountie just needs to move north stanly higher since they will be a 2 seed from there conference.

I was wondering the same thing. I looked at last year when East Columbus was put in the West them and all the schools in the East are out there together but I guess the East got full and someone had to be put in the West not sure why they got the Short straw, one or two looks barely more West to me on the map but I guess they have it exactly which is.

If they ( North Stanly) win Friday night. If they lose you'll have a three way tie. Then they have to have a tie breaker to see who gets second place.

CSD/PLP might be for the last spot in, WSP needs to beat Bishop McG., Lakewood/Union game could have a bid on line (Union has to win, Lakewood may be ok with loss but I wouldn't want to chance it), Louisburg/Warren Co....Warren has almost no chance even with a win, but Louisburg probably needs a win to stay safe, probably more.....I started looking at 1A/1AA today this afternoon and published blog post at 3:45....my 2A/2AA has been a work in progress all season and finally got posted this week after new ADM numbers and rankings Monday
