I predict a lot of matchups from regular season, in first round of playoffs. I don't like the alignment that causes this to happen. Come playoff time, you should play "new" opponents.

Then I suggest you don't go watch your Hawks in regionals, it appears at this point if seeds hold true all 3 games will be rematches.

How would you solve this?

Go back to the alignment they had several years ago. It would not completely eliminate rematches, but it would reduce them a lot.

Luckily, it appears as if Ridgeview will have at least one round where they play someone new in Marion and realistically two if Richlands beats Wise Central in round one.

I agree with HR6 though. I liked the combined regions in the playoffs with West and East.
