Jones dunk vs Kentucky in SEC tourney in '96. Norwood's run vs the Gators in '04. Miller's run vs BYU in 2000. Pegues pick 2007 Auburn. Pop and I were watching at home. His small Yorkie was sitting in his lap. Derrick picked it with only 15 yds or so from the land of milk and honey. We both jumped to our feet and shouted at the top of our lungs. The dog left yelping from the room and stayed hid 'til way after the game. Good Times

How did I leave out the blocked PAT and return in the Snow Bowl. I almost 17 up the ceiling fan when I left the recliner.

for me, it was beating auburn in 1999 at jordan hare. really, that whole year was unbelievable from a comeback standpoint. we beat memphis by 3, auburn by 2, lsu by 1, kentucky by 1, ole miss by 3, and clemson by 3. still pissed about that arkansas game, but that was one hell of a season and that auburn game really set it off. i remember running through the house screaming. specifically, that late td by fant...cant remember to who....

The ones that made me lose my *#)(* in person:

1) Billy Jackson recovering the BAmmer fumble in 1980.
2) Dana Moore hitting the field Goal against 8th Ranked LSU in 1982
3) Artie Cosbie hitting the game winning FG against LSU in 1984 (we used to beat LSU regularly).
4) Scott Westerfield's kick against Kentucky in 1999.
5) C.J. Sirmones all alone at the 15.
6) 3rd and 57.
6) a. Winning the SEC tournament in 2005 over ole miss.
7) Johnson's Pick Six (wasn't there, but mom and I both actually caught air jumping up and down on that one, plus rang my cowbell all up and down the neighborhood in Calera, Alabama).
8) Johnathan Banks' pick six of Tim Tebow.

And, the event that made me, in the words of the Ole Miss fan sitting next to me, "the most obnoxious ************ he's ever met", Keo Coleman cold-cocking Tommy Luke.

don't think it was Fant. The year of the comebacks was Madkin and Wyatt, right? Think Fant came in the early 00's.

"3rd and 57"

Anytime you make OBC burn 4 different QB's in one game you are having fun. Weurffel, Brock Berlin, the prissy guy on ESPN now and I can't remember the fourth.

ETA: Rex Grossman. Still can't think of the ESPN guy that QB'd in that game though.

ETA Again: Jessie Palmer I think

Madkin to Cooper on 4th and 15 to put us in fg position to win the West against Arkansas. Then the field goal itself.
i don't think our Western Division Championship and trip to Atlanta was clinched until our win over ole miss the next week but the big hurdle was Arkansas.

The winner of our game against them was pretty much going to win the west.

Funniest part of that game at Auburn no one saw or heard but me. I was on Aub sideline and in 4th qrt Aub scored to tie the game. They missed the xtra point and a big OL from Aub came off the field right at me, pulled his helmet off and said " I can't believe that MF missed that <17ing> Field Goal"
The crowd that day on our last game winning drive was the loudest I have ever heard.

I was there, and it was pandemonium when Butler caught that ball. Grown men, strangers, hugging each other, running around like little kids.

There were several plays that stood out in this game. Omarr Conner was brilliant.

The 37YD TD by Norwood w/ 0:32 left was................ finger lickin good ya'll.

One I forgot. Seeing Jarius Norwood leave the Egg Bowl in '05 II think in the second quarter injured and not coming out at halftime then in the middle of the 3rd he comes trotting out from locker rooms and down the sidelines and the stadium went crazy. Came back in game and scored on the ensuing drive. We steamrolled OM from that point on.

The "Kang" definately believed in putting some meat on the line. Every time I watch an old clip during the peak of his era, I'm still amazed at how big we were up front. He had some monsters.

Great thread, guys. Lot's of fantastic memories of hysteria there. Gonna have me smiling all day thinking of those moments. I love all those. I know the Walker runs in the 2nd half of the snow bowl were awesome given the mild blizzard. The Madkin or Taite drive at the end of the Tennessee game to beat Peyton at DWS was one of those moments too. JJ Johnson de-hatting a Vanderbilt DB and Dixon's run at Houston come to mind. The Florida Thursday night game was probably one of the greatest experiences from the crowd just being in a sustained frenzy that I have ever witnessed. The crowd was wild all night. Great stuff!

1) Bowers game winner at Coleman-I was there and it was surreal. When he hit the last shot, our entire section just lost it. State fans really showed up that day.

2)The 1999 Egg Bowl-watched it with my family and I don't think my cousin ,who was 1 at the time, has recovered yet from all the yelling.

3) Anthony Johnson pick 6-I think I blacked out for a second after he scored i was yelling so much.

4)Renfroe's catch at the wall-ball leaves bat I was cussing, 3 seconds later celebrating.

Honorable mention-Gordon's no look to CRhodes, last K of the 2007 super regional, Pegues punt return,

Go to the 5 minute mark to see him leave and then come back and rip off a great run.
