My wool is so think I look like Troy Polamalubut I am scared $hitless about this UAB game after coming off such a big win and seeing what happened to South Carolina. Lets hope the Central Florida/ UAB shows up and not the Tennessee/ UAB.

Have you ever seen a Dan Mullen team come out flat? I know we haven't been ranked in a while and we are coming off of a big win, but I have never seen our team look flat. You may could say that about Alcorn, but I know for a fact our defense never watched film on them, so they are excused for that. We are better than UAB, and we will play like it. This team wants a 6th win badly, so I expect them to be focused and to do their job like they have all season. We have destroyed every nonconference opponent like UAB since Mullen has been here except MTSU, so we went and took their DC. UAB is no better than Houston, and I don't think this will be any closer than the Houston game was.

and given up the fewest points in the 1st quarter than any other quarter. That's not exactly "starting flat."

Seriously? Does this strike anyone else oddly? I realize they're SWAC, but I'd think they'd still watch at least SOME film on them.

I swear some of you people have been scarred for life by the last 3 Sherrill years and the Crxxm years. I know that "anybody can beat anybody on any given day" and all, but I'm not even considering the possibility that we might lose this game. We're simply a better team than UAB and a better coached team than UAB.

With the new coach and the fact Alcorn really didn't play any Div 1-A teams. We won so I don't think its such a big deal now.

I just don't see us coming out and giving them a chance to win. We are going to run the ball down their throats, and our defense will bend but not break in zone coverage and stop the run effectively. Same thing we always do. We have a consistent gameplan right now, and the team looks like they are in a rhythm on both sides of the ball. This is one of thosegames where it looks nice on paper to pickUAB to keep it close because of us coming off a big win and them playingTennessee close. But it won't happen.Dan won't let it happen. We are far removed from games like Maine and Tulane. We win by alot saturday.
