Police brutality/murder. The main problem is prejudice but there's more to it...

Assumption???????? What the *** did you DO?

police busted into an innocent man's house and shot him in his bed. what else is there? it's clear from countless reports and videos that these police shootings are brought on from panic.

you need to clam down... it's not personal. just the facts.

Hahahahaha "just the facts"

The intended suspect had visited the house previously in the day (according to fiancé) ergo known association with a criminal element.

Fiancé's account is inaccurate in multiple scenarios. She claims an Ambulance and EMT team allowed the victim to bleed out. Actual log shows the victim was in the hospital within 20 mins of being shot.

Autopsy results indicate wounds consistent with someone holding a shotgun based on ballistic forensics.

Investigation completed. No charges filed.

sorry, i just don't believe that side of the story, not 100%

i grew up in a police family. i've known lots of officers, still do. mostly, 75%, very good people.

sometime around the national push to add police officers, about 20 years ago, the wrong kind person started walking around with guns and badges. scared guys, people who just don't have the guts or demeanor to do the job correctly.

You not believing it doesn't change the "facts" as they are.

as you must know, the wounds could be interpreted as defensive wounds. ok. some "facts" are disputable.

the indisputable facts are police stormed into an innocent mans home, looking for a robbery suspect, and killed the innocent man in his bed. no one disputes those facts, not the police.

you're missing the point. which is... better men could have handled the situation in a way that left everyone alive.

watch video this and you might understand...

Irrelevant video is irrelevant to the current discussion.

You need to stop making "assumptions". No one disputes there are bad cops but you are way over the top on this.

That video does not show cops storming into an "innocent mans home". Looks like a video at a gas station.

You have ALREADY made up your mind. You accuse others of making "assumptions" but you are the one that started this thread with an "assumption". You also keep saying "indisputable facts", now tell us where did you come up with these "indisputable facts"? Were you an eyewitness to what happened?

both the police and family agree on those "indisputable facts".

yes, my mind is made up, in that no one should be shot in their bed, by the police. i'll add that many police shootings are, in fact, due to an imagined threat or police panic...my mind is made up about that too.

do you have anything to add to the discussion?

Not really a discussion if you are already cemented in your beliefs. You might be best served to say, here are my thoughts that you won't change, read them. Of course you could just post them to Facebook as well. I hear there are plenty of uninformed, emotional, opinionated morons perfectly willing to accept anything as fact when someone says it is.

Wrong ........do you have reading comprehension issues? Looks like you have already accepted ONE SIDES facts. Some of the recorded information like the timeline on the EMS arrival has shown that the fiancees version to be a LIE. Do you want me to point out other disputed FACTS?

The paperboy has had trouble with facts ever since he found the board, but he is easily convinced of his "facts" just like reading this . There is no way in hell any reasonable person could read Hoppy's report and have justification for innocent or guilt. The report is poorly written and supervisor would probably return it to the source to do a rewrite before submitting to DA for prosecuting. There may be enough to take to grand jury, but some verification needs to be done on the time offered by the lady friend. Do need some report on the location of Stan's gun. Did he have a gun in bed - was he even in bed. Dressed or in underwear. Just not enough info to go to trial phase. Long way from it.
