Oh mercy.
Even allowing that OSU is better than any team in the SEC, extrapolating that into "The top of the BIG10 is better than the SEC." is pushing generalization to it's absolute limit.
I said I don't really care, but it's difficult for me to abide utter nonsense.
It’s odd that the county courthouse would be seen as a refuge for those who break the law. The Supremacy Clause probably plays a role here. Likewise, the sovereignty of the United States informs that no state or local judge can order the Untied States to do or stop doing anything. This order is null and void on its face.I wouldnt think a local politician has the authority to keep a Federal Agent from arresting someone.
he was a cool dude too. His jersey had ripped during the game and he gave me a piece of it.Mad respect for an Alfred Rawls mention. A "perhaps" largely forgotten, but outstanding ( 1000 yard rusher in 1989) player.
I was stationed in Germany at the time. Every two weeks, I would get a package in the mail from my Dad, which contained, among other things, VCR tapes that he had recorded UK Football and Basketball games on. Kentucky had a very "Kentucky" season (6-5), but Rawls was a real bright spot. Fun to watch that guy. Fast as lightning (broke Herschel Walker's 100m HS record IIRC)
Yes! I want in on that action ... cracks knuckles ...1 demerit for you and we sir will be meeting in the parking lot after school. @Lost In FL if you want some more, you can join too.
And at the Mall St. Matthews too. They're still a staple in a lot of malls. Surprised they don't have an age limit on who can enter. Half the stuff in there isn't for the youngin's to see.Still a Spencer's in the Jefferson Mall in Louisville
This tool is going to ruin New York
If I'm not mistaken Spencer's is the oldest tenant at the Mall St. Matthews. The mall opened in 1962 and Spencer's had to be there in the 60s.And at the Mall St. Matthews too. They're still a staple in a lot of malls. Surprised they don't have an age limit on who can enter. Half the stuff in there isn't for the youngin's to see.
FIFYDespite it being a hive of liberalism, NYC was still a place I enjoyed visiting from time to time. However in recent years, I’ve generally lost interest. I can say if they take this hard turn toward electing a terrorist sympathizer andsocialistoutright communist, I will never step foot in the city again.
Not a Bengals fan, but I do play a little fantasy football. I will say that as long as Chase is with Cincy, that Tee Higgins should demand a trade to a team where he could be the featured wideout. He's too good to be playing second fiddle. Some people were saying, "should've got Jameis Winston" or some other guy... lmao
Told yall. Flacco is tough when he has weapons. I don't do fantasy football or anything though, so what do I know... LOL
I’m old and tired and my knees hurting. Do you mind if we wait until next week to fight?Yes! I want in on that action ... cracks knuckles ...
Which to an extent proves my point that IU isn't all that much easier to win at. Maybe their Basketball team sucking rocks for an extended period of time now has eased that up some, but to me, they faced a lot of the same hurdles we did. and their football team had Vandy levels of fan support for a loooong time. I used to go to the games in Bloomington back when we used to play them. Went to several, as well as several Vandy road games. The UK crowd was generally bigger at both venues. They were a basketball school that like UK measured their football program by whether they were better or more entertaining at football than other basketball schools. Their state's best football players more often went to other schools. ND, Purdue, etc. Not much mystery there
I seriously don't think NIL is as much of an issue as one thinks. We just paid $22 mil (supposedly) for a basketball team. Now a lot can be debated on that in terms of priorities and where and how much money is directed to Basketball vs. Football. Everyone has their opinions, many speak as though there are certainties in the matter that we will never compete from a football standpoint. Personally, I think there's a lot to it. From a basketball perspective, we want and need that Championship #9. Pope is new and they are pumping the resources his direction in order to do just that. When we win #9, the detractors will say we bought the championship. That's the reality of college athletics these days though, Ohio St. spent a crap ton on NIL to win their championship in football last year and look poised to repeat. Anywho, not to get off on a tangent, but I think the amount being directed to Basketball at this point, is in part, a back door effort, to push Stoops out, and that whenever we get a fresh replacement in here and renewed enthusiasm towards the football program, we will see some of those resources shift back towards football. It may be a cyclical thing. Win a basketball championship to calm the basketball base for a couple of years then push resources to football for a bit.It was unlikely before but now basically impossible. Adding Texas and Oklahoma plus eliminating divisions basically sealed that deal.
Its pretty crazy how good we were even given the tough competition at the time. 2 or 3 years we played Georgia for control of the east. Unfortunately they were at their absolute best and were winning national titles.
Id love to get back there. Given our nil and the competition, I just don't see it happening.
How senior is senior? In the early 70s I was already 30 years old and my Tang days had passed. You must be a kidSeeing that "prize" on the cereal box reminded me of something.
To the rest of the more "senior" folks on here: Who remembers/got one of those Apollo "Moon Buggy" toys, that came in a jar of Tang back in the early 70s? (raises hand)
CNN had their usual dumb lineup of women claiming MAGA is going to be out there picking fights with the protesters…..So Don’t Take The Bait!! Stay away from the Haters.Another stupid No Kings rally tomorrow.
At some point people need to realize that if we actually had a King, they would not be allowed to have this rally.
The Left have to be the biggest dumbasses in the world.
Wouldn't doubt it, they opened a bunch of stores in the early to mid 60's. JC Penney Is the oldest anchor tenant and has been there since the 60's as well.If I'm not mistaken Spencer's is the oldest tenant at the Mall St. Matthews. The mall opened in 1962 and Spencer's had to be there in the 60s.

I was born in '69 I know you're a few years older, but can't be by that much. We did the same thing when dropped off at the mall.1. I'm glad you weren't around when I was a kid, going into Spencer's to look at the posters of women with naked boobs.
2. When we DID go in there, back in the day, I seem to recall the employees "sort of" keeping an eyeball on kids (not always very effectively) to try and keep them away from the more adult items.
also, reading "protestors dragged off and arrested" is a great way to start the morning.
I would have thought he would be posting in the D League if it was actually the legend that was wildcatdonf.RE those posts about wildcatdon .. wasn't his handle always wildcatdonf .. Don Floyd??

Saw nestle will cut 16k jobs due to automation. Trump really needs to confront this. Not just for politics, but for the future of America.
If something isnt done, in 10-15 years there will be barely any jobs for humans.
You didn't do your research. This is worldwide and 12K of this is white collar.
But to your point about automation....we did this to ourselves, and are doing it again w/ AI.
I honestly believe we are heading to a future of AI leading to UBI and a we will also live in a giant nanny state via technology with Peter Thiel’s company. Digital currency will be forced on us.You didn't do your research. This is worldwide and 12K of this is white collar.
