Which to an extent proves my point that IU isn't all that much easier to win at. Maybe their Basketball team sucking rocks for an extended period of time now has eased that up some, but to me, they faced a lot of the same hurdles we did. and their football team had Vandy levels of fan support for a loooong time. I used to go to the games in Bloomington back when we used to play them. Went to several, as well as several Vandy road games. The UK crowd was generally bigger at both venues.
Most boring game I ever saw was UK -IU. UK kicked a FG with a few seconds left and won 3-0.

Saw nestle will cut 16k jobs due to automation. Trump really needs to confront this. Not just for politics, but for the future of America.

If something isnt done, in 10-15 years there will be barely any jobs for humans.

1. What exactly is a politician supposed to do about this? Forbid companies from using AI or automation?

2. Doesn’t your post seem completely hysterical?

3. Isn’t this similar to people freaking about computers taking over human jobs 30 years ago?

4. Do you genuinely believe “there will barely be any jobs for humans” in 10 years??

How refreshing is it to be able to discuss multiple topics other than politics in here (instead of page after page of rebutting gaslighting leftist trolls)?

I'm not sure what happened to all of them (figured they just couldn’t help themselves from getting banned by gleefully celebrating the assassination of CK like so many other mentally unstable democrats did), but whatever happened has made this thread waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better.

That game set football back 100 years.

In 1994 after Florida beat Kentucky 73-7 at the Swamp, a 12 year-old FrontRunner went to the Indiana game and a friend and I had a sign saying up from the grave, Kentucky is going to beat the sh-t out of Indiana.

We lost 59-29. It's been over 30 years, I never made another poster again.

Damn... FrontRunner was TWELVE when I started working for FCPS... LOL

Did you live/attend school in Lexington? Which school if so?

And I was at that game. IU had a white RB (Alex Smith?) that ran all over us. IIRC

Bill Mallory, the IU head coach hated Kentucky. I can't remember why, but it was some sort of a grudge that started in the 80's or maybe it had something to do with Bill Curry. and he held onto that.

To make it worse, I took a friend/guy that I worked with, that graduated from IU. **** him. LOL (j/k we're still friends to this day. His son, Carter played basketball at North Florida, and got to play against Kentucky at Rupp a few years back when UNF was on the early season schedule)

Paducah? (I've probably asked you all of this before)

Our seats (me and my Dad) were in Section 125 (I think it's Section 21 now) right by the tunnel where the visiting team runs on/off the field.

When we FIRST started going, the end zone seats were just open air bleachers. We sat in the Nutter FH side. In November the wind would rip through those bleachers. We froze our asses off.

At halftime, and after the game, I'd run under those bleachers and pick up dozens of those plastic UK cups. My Dad probably still has a hundred of those things at his house. You had to be careful getting those cups though, because people in the bleachers would fire their empty bourbon bottles on the ground, and you could get brained by one.

I still remember the three guys that always sat behind us (in the bleachers) One of them was named Rich, and you could measure how much bourbon he'd had by the volume of his voice. By the 4th quarter, win or lose he was in spectacular form. :ROFLMAO:

Later on, when we moved seats, I used to get extremely annoyed when the beach balls would come out. Complaining in my "superior way" about how stupid the fan base was, and how they'd rather play with beach balls blah blah blah, these stupid fans don't deserve good football etc." Three times, over the years, one of those beach balls came to me, and I always relished stomping the **** out of it. (to a smattering of boos) :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

I can laugh about it now, but I endured one of my most embarrassing moments as a UK FB fan during that 94 UK-Florida game. That game was played close to my birthday, and my wife organized a birthday party around the FB game at our apartment. Of course I’m the only one wearing UK gear (living in Louisiana at the time), and this back before there was all the widespread TV coverage of CFB games.

Anyway, by mid second quarter the game was already out of reach. I believe we changed the channel / turned it off halftime. Thankfully my friends didn’t razz me too bad but that was the first and last time I organized a UK FB watch party comprised of mostly non-UK fans.

Another stupid No Kings rally tomorrow.

At some point people need to realize that if we actually had a King, they would not be allowed to have this rally.

The Left have to be the biggest dumbasses in the world.
I wonder if they are having a costume theme? Or are they all going to dress up in bare *** chaps with the little han solo vest like Texas fans wear? ...
