They were. That was evidenced clearly by the move to the left on every battleground ballot. Dems bailed them out, which is a rare mistake.

Of course that assumes there isnt some surprise on the aca vote that was agreed to happen.
we're gonna agree to disagree, my friend. IMO, the left caved because they were about to lose their constituents... their welfare queens. add to that trumps brilliant pr move of 2k to individuals. the dems were losing hard. they had all the media, lying about what was going on, the entire time and they still couldn't gain traction. again this is all my opinion, and i respect yours. i just simply don't agree.

Not sure if true, copied from another site.

Liberals are organizing to STORM congressional offices in Washington, D.C. on November 20th to demand President Trump’s impeachment.
One of the organizers laid it out clearly in a livestream:
“It’s time to remove the regime. We have to remove him from power… The way we take him out of power is the people sitting in those offices on Capitol Hill say enough is enough and push forth articles of impeachment.”
They’re calling the event the “Remove the Regime Rally,” a three-day mobilization planned for November 20–22, with crowds expected to fill the streets around the Capitol.
“We are going to come with big numbers and go up onto Capitol Hill and make our voices heard… We are going to peaceably go into these offices and demand that they support articles of impeachment.”
The man even hinted at escalating tactics:
“If they don’t got the balls enough to impeach him, we will take their job and do it for them with the next crew we bring in… We need progressive Democrats with balls enough to stand up.”
He closed his rant by urging influencers and activists nationwide to travel to D.C. and pressure lawmakers directly.
In short:
🔺
Left-wing activists are mobilizing
🔺
They plan to occupy congressional offices
🔺
Their goal: force impeachment and “remove the regime”
It’s shaping up to be a volatile scene in Washington — and law enforcement will need to keep a close watch to ensure it doesn’t spiral out of control.
You mean like an insurrection? Trying to overturn the will of the voters? That sort of thing the right was accused of?

Kennedy was right with his prediction that Schumer would get those Dems to “cave” for optics. It’s all theater. They know you’re going to get smoked on premiums and Dems will win the midterms.

That’s how terrible the GOP is right now. Like handing someone a golden opportunity and pissing it away.

Need to bring back the draft and the Drill Sergeants from the 60's and 70's, had my butt kicked more than once. I still think one of this bunch was my DS!!!
I used to say we should have a mandatory service of some type, so I agree in principle, but there are to many lunatics out there today. Give them weapons and access to stuff? Even if you just give them pencils or shovels, they will be more trouble than they are worth.

I'm a high income Trump voter and I will be blowing it on expensive booze and fine cigars.
The obvious distain for low income or poor people is and has been prevalent in his postings and most libs who have some money. They feign concern for the poor but when it comes time to prove they care "poof" they vanish again. There seems to be a common theme of "poof" (English reference for this guy) with these people.

I literally got kicked in the ribs by one of my Drill Sergeants in the fall of 76. Did I deserve it? Well... Yes. I was mad at the time, and he saw the look on my face and ask me if I wanted to hit him which I replied: "Yes" so he called the other DI's around and had me doing pushups while he kicked me in the sides. I was rather mouthy in those days and said what I thought most of the time. I learned really quick however to zip it up and drive on.

DI's would have to weed those types out. I was involved in helping get rid of some while I was a Drill Instructor. One called the unit from a mental hospital in Indiana somewhere asking to speak to me months after he was kicked out.

I was goofing off instead of paying attention in physical armed restraint training. Before I even knew what was happening, he had me in a type of neck drag with me on his back in an upside-down position with my feet in the air. I remembered quickly and patted my leg early and often as a sign of submission. In the real-world, things can happen quickly. He taught me a valuable lesson I remember to this today. I should have thanked him, but I was to shaken.

He thinks he’s the only one that has more than two nickels to rub together. The rest of us are just sitting on the front porch of our dirt floor shack, barefoot and chewing on a piece of straw. Amazing we even have the ability to get on dat der interweb.

Wow. LSU admin are pieces of work. Knee jerk fired the guy and now want to go back on that against the contract they signed with him, tried ro get him to accept a deal, and are trying to find "cause" now...

Trash

They must believe they have a judge in their pocket to do this now. According to the contract they needed to show cause within 7 days of firing him, which there's ZERO QUESTION they did. Wonder if they were renegging on NIL contracts too
