Damn. I totally forgot he had a rally. I knew he had one but didn't remember that it was last night.

You can't possibly tell me he has anywhere near the same sort of mental decline that Biden had. Trump could probably still host the NYE special if he wanted to lol.

This was in my in-box on National Security Strategy and US assessment of Europe.

It pays to read the document itself, which is only 30 pages long. Here is the key part about Europe that has everyone’s heavily-tariffed knickers in a bunch, in a section cheekily called “Promoting European Greatness”: (This commentary before the paraphrasing below)

American officials have become used to thinking about European problems in terms of insufficient military spending and economic stagnation. There is truth to this, but Europe’s real problems are even deeper.

Continental Europe has been losing share of global GDP—down from 25 percent in 1990 to 14 percent today—partly owing to national and transnational regulations that undermine creativity and industriousness.

But this economic decline is eclipsed by the real and more stark prospect of civilizational erasure. The larger issues facing Europe include activities of the European Union and other transnational bodies that undermine political liberty and sovereignty, migration policies that are transforming the continent and creating strife, censorship of free speech and suppression of political opposition, cratering birthrates, and loss of national identities and self-confidence.

Should present trends continue, the continent will be unrecognizable in 20 years or less. As such, it is far from obvious whether certain European countries will have economies and militaries strong enough to remain reliable allies. Many of these nations are currently doubling down on their present path. We want Europe to remain European, to regain its civilizational self-confidence, and to abandon its failed focus on regulatory suffocation.

How does a city react to the violent murders of two women riding light rail trains in Charlotte?

Maybe spend money to hire more law enforcement to patrol the trains and improve saftey?

Of course not because Charlotte is a city run by democrats. Instead you pay 3.4 million dollars to a PR firm to convince citizens their lives aren't at risk when they step foot on these trains. Okay libs, please defend this one.

Oh look everybody!! The Mayor of Charlotte NC has hired a Public Relations Firm for 3.4 Million dollars from Austin Texas to handle the problem of folks being murdered on the Charlotte Commuter Train system.

Of course with any government contract there was an RFP (Request for Proposal) put out by the Mayor for competitive bid ..Right?!

So local firms in Charlotte and NC got a chance..right?!? Oh there was no real local RFP put out .. wow!! That’s required by law isn’t it?!? Well never mind .. this is an emergency!!!

The PR firm has a great reputation.. they helped the Beto O’Roak Campaign in Texas (you know how that turned out) .. and they’ve contributed to ACTBLUE.. and several other Democratic candidates.

And of course it’s a native LA ..female owned PR firm. What could possibly go wrong with this… Typical of an incompetent and morally broke City Government..

Shame on you Mayor.. shame!!

And I bet that, completely by coincidence, some of that money will end up back in her campaign coffers (after being passed around a bit to hide the clear fraud).

Well, they're going to have to change that. And the proof is the loans that I mentioned above, and the dealer lots that are ABSOLUTELY FILLED with 2 and 3 year old inventory, just rotting away...

It's ridiculous that automobile manufacturers aren't offering a sedan, a compact sedan/hatchback, a no frills 1/2 ton pickup, and a small pickup at affordable prices. They'd better START doing that, or else.

I'm not rich, but I'm retired, with a nice income, and part of the reason I was able to do that was because I bought homes and vehicles, below my means, but neither of those options really exist anymore. I'd love to have, and could REALLY use a small and practical pickup truck. They don't even exist anymore; not even in the used market.
Been looking for a midsized truck now for about a month or so. It is unreal how much they even want for used. Tack on all of the hidden fees and now the interest rates being what they are, and I am sitting on my hands waiting for them to come down or I find a desperate dealership that needs to move inventory because of quota problems.

Was going to wait for about another year or two but my hoopty (2005 Kia Sportage) is starting to have transmission problems and I am not going to pay to have it replaced or fixed s... Still have my 2007 Ford F150 to use if the Kia goes belly up so desperation on my part is not an issue.

Societal Cucks is a good name for some of these leftist dudes.

Also, **** goes down hill when you have people that wear hair like that dude.

The kicker to all of this is that it is obviously crazy. You literally have to be insane to buy into what they are selling (if they are even selling anything...I can't tell for certain what they are doing, other than trying to persuade the masses that sanity is bad, reason is bad, information is bad, etc.)
Combine them with the crazy liberal white women who have massive cases of both TDS and suicidal empathy and you can see why we are so screwed.

Imagine the outrage if someone called a new hire a 'mediocre gay black man'. Since he's white and straight, I guess it is okay to do this.

I owed some 2 or 3 years ago. And I could never figure out why. Never owed before that year and haven't owed any since. And have had the same job and basically same everything.
Biden nomics and dims political greediness. Probably had something to do with USAID. I had never owed until last year and paid around $1200 or more.

Pretty general statement. Mid-sized to one, is large/small to another. Features, year, etc.

Maverick, Colorado can be had for low-mid 20's.
Been a Ford man all of my life and have never bought anything else (for me). My wife has a 2007 Nissan Rouge and the KIA Sportage was hers until we bought the Rouge and gave the Kia to her mother. She (her mother) can no longer drive so, I use it as my Hoopty.

With that being said, Maverick was a thought, but they have not been out long enough for a long enough reliability assessment for me so, Rangers are what I am looking for at this time. Owned one years ago and when I bought an F150 (not current one) I sold it. Wish I had kept it anyway, it was very durable and ran like a scalded cat. Had a 4.2L V6.

However, at this point in time, I am considering Tacoma's and have looked at a few Colorado's as well. Does not have to be new but within the last couple of years or so.

OBTW, original statement being general is because I hate long post so, I try to avoid them. Wife gets pissed at me because when she is trying to make a point about things she has to give me the whole break down of how she got there and I generally tell her to just give me the end result, I can figure out the rest. True story. She still gets a little miffed when I say shorten it but, after 25 years she has learned to expect it and doesn't get as mad.

Edited: Features? Standard. Not big on all of the bells and whistles so...

WTF does his race or even gender have to do with it. “Mediocre reporter” would be a slam. Mediocre White Man could mean many things. Mediocre at being a white man? Oh well. Or, is it suffering that mediocre white men are better than women and others? Just stupid.

If you wait a bit you might be able to score one of those new Hilux trucks that are coming, or are rumored to be coming in 2026. I've heard low to mid twenties for a truck with few frills.

I've been a Toyota guy all my life. I have abused Tacomas past the point that any vehicle should have been able to survive and they just kept on asking for more. Plus, every third world **** hole in the world can't be wrong. They love those Toyota technicals they run around in. Tundras not so much. I know one to many people who have had blown engines.

Thing is, the price for Toyotas is outrageous at this point and it doesn't look to be correcting any time soon. Third gen Tacomas aren't called the turd generation for no reason. They have transmission issues. I'm thinking of looking at Mazda for my next ride. Wish they would bring back the B model trucks.
