i agree to a point. his growth has been fun to watch. it helps he has a couple of freshman receivers who can actually fight for the ball and make a play, unlike the other WRs who have dominated PT so far. My one knock on him is it seems he has a hitch in his throw, maybe drops his shoulder as he passes the ball. But i love how he is reading defenses, he seems to know and understand the offense. He is clearly the bright spot to the season.

I think it's his footwork. He's kind of got happy feet and so I think half the time he's just an 'arm thrower' He definitely needs some coaching on his footwork/planting. Good luck getting it from THIS staff. If he gets that squared away, he'll REALLY zing the ball. I mean, bad form and all he can still put some mustard on it.

That one pass he tried, rolling to his left, when he tried to square up and pass it was "hard to watch" LOL. It looked like my wife, trying to throw a baseball. Brutal. LOL It's not an easy thing to do, trying to square up on the move and running away from your arm momentum, but still. Damn...

I think Will Stein would be an absolute home run hire, but honestly, he's probably going to get offers from some big programs after this year, so he's probably out of our league. Doesn't mean you don't at least call him.
That's the issue right there. We're not a big program and can't be as attitudes are. We operate FB like a G5 program playing in the P1 league.

Good suggestion. The quality of these waterproof maps is fantastic, there are no two ways about it. My point, which I didn't really explain very well, is that for my purposes, it's overkill. So, I'm just looking for a cheaper alternative.

I keep harping on waterproofing, but that is superfluous as well, because I'll be damned If I'm going to get out there in crap weather. Even the threat of it, and I'm staying home.

Don't forget, I'm Air Force and we don't, you know, DO that sort of thing. LOL. All I need is my map, my SILVA compass, perfect weather, some cucumber sandwiches on cocktail bread with the crusts cut off, a nice assortment of stuffed olives, maybe some pate', a mid-range Cali Chardonnay (easy on the Oak), and some macaroons to snack on, on the way back.

Just the essentials really. Stick to the basics.

I saw a promo on ESPN about a documentary on the Bluegrass Miracle, and our basketball team's huge comeback against LSU down there circa 1993? I'd like to see the basketball part but that football loss will stay with me forever. I've never watched a replay and never will.

Does anyone remember the LSU fan that ran on the field after LSU caught that Hail Mary? He was wearing like this purple and yellow "cow" costume. There was a picture of him in the Lexington paper the next day. Anyway, right AFTER that photo was snapped, some really really pissed off Kentucky fan just absolutely obliterated that gloating @SS Clown (oops!) Just vaporized the dude. I can't believe it didn't kill him. :ROFLMAO:

I saw it happen, and somehow it helped. Very therapeutic. I wish I could find the guy that sent him into orbit, because I'd like to shake his hand and buy him a beer.

My buddy was there in the 10th row in the end zone where they scored the winning td. He was so p*ssed off when saw the fans going onto the field before the last play that he started down toward the field yelling at them. Told the person he went to the game with that he thought they'd score because it looked like the players were already celebrating as well. Didn't stop him from being p*ssed afterwards, though. He saw the guy in the cow suit and went down on the field with plans to waterboy him. He's very fortunate that someone else did it before he got there. He was still in football shape back then and wasn't to be messed with.

(I wanted to do the same thing.)

On the subject of the football announcers, at one point in their ramblings they said that under Stoops UK has only come back one time to win when getting behind by at least 2 touchdowns. They said that his offenses are not built to come from behind. Instead, they are built to stay with the other teams scoring or something to that effect.

If true, after a few years of failing because of this strategy, should you not change it up and try something different?

I've made my preference known. I think we need a OC head coach, preferably one with a QB's coach background. A good play designer, that can find ways to exploit a defense, even when you're perhaps a little over-matched. Someone that knows how to take what the defense is giving you, and is not afraid to continue exploiting that, until the defense is forced to change, then you attack what they just conceded. It sounds simplistic, but it's not really rocket science, now is it?

I think that is what frustrates me the MOST about Stoops and Hamden. We get a groove running the ball, we're moving the chains, and then, for no good reason, we decide to get fancy, and boom, it's second and 10, and we're already behind the 8-ball. Even though the opposing defense had not adjusted yet to STOP the run. It's like Hamden gets BORED, and wants to play with a different toy, just because.

Did you know that Robert Clary was Jewish and actually spent time in one of those German camps built for Jews. Some of the other Characters on that show were also Jewish and fled Germany at that time.

Did you ever watch a documentary or read about what happened at Dachau when the Americans liberated it?

It got dark, and I mean it got dark FAST.:oops:

The GI's were in a mood to begin with, and then the liberated prisoners started inciting (to be clear, I'm NOT criticizing them for that) and the mob mentality got a foothold, and didn't look back...

It was pretty much "not spoken of" after that. No prosecutions etc. My impression is that the higher ups didn't want to touch it with a ten foot pole. When it got up to Gen. Patton he squashed it.

The CDC flu data shows that the flu shot and resulting shedding is more than likely the cause of many "flu" cases.
How does an inactive virus cause the flu? People have reactions to flu shots. Doesn't make those reactions cases of the flu.
The spikes also tend to occur after jab campaigns get underway,
Well yea. The shots are scheduled as the season starts.
and would likely be seen initially after health care providers get their mandated ones, which is occurring from this past week over the next two weeks. If it's read carefully, you can see increases in cases with the exact strains they put in them.
The strains they put in the shots are the strains expected the next season. So yea, there's a correlation - meaning they selected the correct strains to put in the shots. Smart science.

What sticks out to me were the UK students tearing down the goal posts at the end opposite of where LSU was still trying to get to the end zone. Shows how much they know about the sport.

You can, actually. You can shed it massively also while only having mild symptoms after getting one.
Data source for that please? As is, I don't believe it.
In fact, (and you probably know this) they would say your shot wasn't "effective" by their definitions if you didn't have some flu type of reaction to it.
I haven't has a reaction in at least 20 years & before that, just a bump on my arm. And I haven' had flu in 25+ years.
Why do they say that flu symptoms after admin of a flu jab is effective? The truth is that if you don't have that reaction, you can't spread the dis ease that drives their profits every year.
BS.

FIL was a X-ray tech in mobile hospital (45th Evacuation Hospital) that treated Buchenwald survivors there. He brought back horrific photos.

Army made shots mandatory every year. Not to mention every time we went somewhere (deployed or training) we were pin cushioned full of shots.
I dont take them anymore, but when we graduated from cop school and were being deployed to various places across the water, it was a nice sunny day. They set up outside and there was a huge line of us getting shots. They had these gun like things and every few steps, someone would jab you in the arm. I dont know how many shots there was or what they were for. It was walk the line and shut up.
