Do you like Europe and Australia's new internet ID laws? Well, you might be getting your own laws soon. It appears that Congress has quietly been considering nineteen different bills which all require internet ID.
The two front runners are for the children. You know what it means when the government says that.
KIDS SAFETY ACT
TEEN SOCIAL MEDIA PROTECTION ACT
Both of these laws will apply to
everyone, not just kids. They require you to upload your ID, facial scan, or use a service like ID ME in order to use the internet. Some call for a digital ID. That means just accessing this site requires verification. It also means tracking everything you do on the internet and linking it back to your digital ID. Everything.
The KSA failed to pass as a stand alone bill last year. Watch for one, or more, of these bills to get attached to the NADA this year.
