As an immigrant myself, I know many people like him of all backgrounds. The people we are bringing in now, illegal or otherwise, are simply not cut from the same cloth; the vast majority of them, anyway.
What the "left" believes, however, is that people are software, that there is no distinction. Namely, that they can brainwash you into their worldview and that it's for your own good. If you won't get on board, they'll replace you with people who will, en route to their ultimate goal, one party state where your conservative views are completely alienated.
