Some big and small names being thrown around. It's probably gonna land somewhere in middle. Schiano or Cristobal I'm thinking. Would be nice if we got a bigger name, and I think we could if the timing was right, but there are just not that many big names other than Richt and Mullen.

IMO we are close to getting Mullen. He is out at MSU. With Georgia off the board we just need Miami to hire Davis or Schiano and I think we are good.

That would be SOP for RU football. The last RU head football coach who was a working as head coach for another program before moving on to RU was Harvey Harman in 1938 after coaching Penn for 7 seasons.

Call me nuts but the only big name that we may have a legit shot at getting is Dan Mullen, which would be huge for us. He is looking and maybe was willing last time but at the time we didn't want to pay for an upgraded staff, that shouldn't be an issue this time.

I really don't think that GS wants anything to do with coming back here.

Babers - I am hearing Maryland, if they botch that we might have a good shot at him.
Rhule - Maybe?
Schiano - maybe ends up at his dream job, Da U
Moglia - I dought it unless he promises to donate a SH!TTON of money.
Cristobal - Will Mario's wife change her mind about NJ? If so, we have a good shot with him.
Golden - Appears to want to come here, if all else fails the job is his.
Chip Kelly - crazy things happen but this might be too damn crazy.

I want someone with other offers; someone we have to convince to come here. I don't want the refuse of the rest of the NCAA job offerings. That rules out Golden and Christobal. It might rule out Schiano too.
