We all hope that we can beat Michigan but there is a good possibility that we lose.

Given that negative outcome was is your prediction of RU making the field of 68?

Completely out with a loss. Not even Dayton. NIT 1st Round at the RAC.

Ignore the noise around here about the Ohio State thing and other scenarios that are just wishful thinking by folks wearing scarlet-colored glasses. Today is an elimination game. Period.

Although, having bid stealers like Wisky lose yesterday helped.

But I agree, we can’t get in as an 18 win team losing 7 out of our last 9.

Win today and we’re 99% in. Lose today and we’re 90% out.

It doesn’t matter what the fans predict. It’s about the committee and THEIR decision.

I feel we lose and get to Dayton .
If we don’t get in, this is an all time collapse . Kinda like the 2007 Mets

Right now Rutgers appears to be on the right side of the bubble regardless of this next game. It’s feels like they should not but the metrics are in RU’s favor. Obviously it depends on what other teams do and if there are any bid stealers. Win and I think they are in the field. Lose and there is a good chance they still end up in Dayton or the first team out.

Only if the OSU game is truly given substantial weight. Even still, odds are probably very much against, realistically.

If we lose, both MWC bubblers would probably jump us with wins. UNC might be picked ahead of us anyway if we both lose, but if they beat UVA they would definitely be ahead of us. Arizona State might need to win 2 to jump us but that could also happen. Same for Oregon.

Even if every one of these scenerios go our way we’d also need for there to be no bid stealers.

Rutgers could sneak into the tournament with a close game loss and a Penn State loss if the committee allows (9) Big Ten Teams.

Better to beat Michigan and we are likely in when compared to other teams with 19 wins.

I had a work event with Jerry Palm over zoom and he said this is an "elimination game". only way we backdoor in is if alottttt of stuff breaks our way with other conference tournament games and teams on the bubble/first four out etc.
