TR. I think both play early though. I think the type of game determines who plays more. If we have lead, dak. If we're in comeback mode, TR.

TR starts.

Prediction for the game: TR comes out and puts together a quick 60 yard drive before stalling out and Bell misses a gimme field goal. Dan is confident in Russell but the rest of the first half is spent trying to recapture whatever we did on the first drive but to no avail. Dak comes out in the second half when we're down by double digits and is forced into pocket pass plays. He reels off a few great runs after being flushed from the pocket but Dan refuses to go with a run first offense since we're down quite a bit.

I really wish this weren't true and that I could believe otherwise, but I see this scenario happening as well.

My answer is TR. It probably won't matter. If we're ahead slightly in the third quarter going into the fourth, they will simply go to their running game straight up the middle, challenging our defensive front, keep on pounding, and finally knock the door down to win the game. We've always tried to go man to man on the line with them and they are willing to play that game because they believe their offensive line is better than our defensive line. They have proven to be right, time after time.

It is really disheartening how easily this could play out and we can see it , yet Mullen won't. It is mind boggling to be honest.

Normally, I would vote for TR, just because Dan is stubborn and we are MSU. But I voted for Dak because I think *** is feeling some heat.

Don't really matter, because both will play

I expect Tyler will take the first snap, but that don't mean crap, who ever is moving the team will play.

That is what I expect, anything else will be less than acceptable.

MUCH LESS!

Why do you do this to yourself? So we're down double digits because the defense can't stop them? Or the offense stalls and Swedenberg has the shanks? Or the offense has committed more turnovers in the first half than they have all season combined? How will you make it through the bye week?

I'll make a prediction that we will not trail by double digits at any point in the game. Last year @ LSU - without a bye week - with an LSU team that has 11 players drafted to the NFL and a Chris Wilson defense - it is a 7 pt. game until the very end of the third quarter.

I would be elated if a fresh Dak came off the bench after half-time and took the team on his back after TR has thrown it around the yard the first half. Whoever starts, expect LSU to make the necessary halftime adjustments to stop them.

I voted Dak. Not because he would be better for the team but because until TR takes another snap I'll play the odds.

Both needs to play and play well. The fans fixated on who will start has really lost sight of the greater issues facing the team.

Tyler because Mullen hates for him to lose the job because of an injury. And the more I think about it, I can understand that. I think Dak will play early though and hopefully Mullen will go with who ever is doing best at that point.

TR. He's done nothing THIS season to lose his starting role. If he performs poorly then dak will be our starter. Dan won't pull him because of an injury, only for poor play.

Tyler. Corch said he is the starter. He will "start" and play some but make no mistake about it, this is now Dak's team. He is our leader on the field; always fired up and making plays.

you don't have to do something poorly to lose your spot

if someone else is playing better than you. If Dak doesn't start, Mullen is 17'ing retarded. If Dak stalls and we get behind, TR is a better QB to play from behind anyway. If we play it the opposite way it's an easy win for LSU.
