And your continued ability to over analyze my posts once again amazes me. I can put down one sentence and you'll come back with a small book about it. I don't like Pollard. Is it that difficult? He was a prick during his recruiting and he was looking for the highest bidder. Then he stunk it up at Bama. Why the 17 do you want that at MSU?

We lose two seniors (Steele and Borchert) this coming year. We currently have 1 commit (Dunlap). We're in on some good players too. If we have opportunity to get Elijah staley or Sam logwood, I would pass on pollard unless he really steps up his game. If players are close in talent, ill always choose the hs player over juco.
We lose Lewis too next season. MedRed for this season, he plays next season, then is done.

As for recruiting those guys and others, yeah absolutely agree that we should take the best recruits who want to come to MSU. If there are others who are better than Pollard, then great. It should depend on if we need talent right away or down the line though. If we need talent at a position right away, JUCO it up. If we are deep at a position, then take the HS recruit so they have time to improve and gain experience.

My original post was in response to the stupid comment that since he didnt produce much this season, we should pass on him for 2 seasons from now. That is just so absurd. If he goes the JUCO route and if he is interested in us, then lets see how he has progressed. Its as if DAWG61 doesnt realize players develop at different rates and flourish in different systems and setups.

And slightly off-topic but I don't keep up with BB recruiting. Is this the 'same' Elijah Staley from Wheeler GA that plays QB that committed to Vandy a couple of weeks ago?

Forgot about Lewis. I agree on the rest
