But I don't guess it would really matter. Both would/will be on short leases. We've got to put some hits together, otherwise it won't matter. 4 and 5 a game isn't going to cut it today.

He pitched well in Oxford last year and again in Gov's cup this year. We also have sucked against crafty lefties...lefties period. Looks like a brilliant move to me.

Not about CT, obviously, but I said yesterday Porter in the DH role just isn't good enough. Both he and Rea are really out there for their bats. We have to get production from both of them. <div>
</div><div>Porter's hitting better, so he gets to stay. Don't know if Casey's the answer, but I think you have to try someone else at DH that can hit. There's no reason in wasting that spot.</div><div>
</div><div>Before anyone says anything, I'm not jumping on Cohen. I think he does fine, and I'm pretty patient. I'm just agreeing that he needs to do something.</div>

they were talking about Rea having a sore shoulder or something. I really think Cohen was just trying to send a message to him.<div>
</div><div>We need Porter and Rea to hit. There's just no skirting around it. We have a good enough team to do well, if we just have a few guys hitting, we'll be fine. Those guys are in the lineup mostly for their bats (Porter is no doubt), so they have to hit.</div><div>
</div><div>Now that I say that, Porter's out, so...</div>
