Fair enough, my initial thought was the UK photo was him literally turning his back on UK (his back is facing Pope). Probably feels some type of way about how it panned out, but solidifies that it could’ve been a character issue that would be hard to overcome thus far into the offseason

That’s exactly what it is. He’s slighting pope saying we’re behind him and he’s saying St. John’s is the choice

Glad we’re interpreting it the same way. Definitely gives some confidence that the ‘insiders’ are at least getting some things right about us moving on, hopefully all the Mitchell/kohler smoke is real, could get real exciting real fast

Our football staff is filled with former UL players. We good. We also were happy when Kenny Payne went home to UL, knowing he cherishes his time at UK more. :)

i think his tweet is much simpler than that. If we did move on, hes still using Kentucky for buzz and negotiation tactics to get more money from St Johns.

I know Florida doesn't want him and Tennessee doesn't need him. Cal would probably take him

But LSU doesn't have a starting five yet so he would fit in there.

Hall was eligible to transfer, and I would have gone for the sure thing. Plus, UK needs a small forward, as Kam is injured, and you can't count on him.

Why do people keep saying we need a small forward? Milan is the 3 for this team. He might slide over some at the 4 when we go small but he is our 3. And kam is going to be fine and play this year.

Milan is better as a stretch 4. If I had a dollar for every time I heard an injured player is going to be fine.

Well he is our 3. That’s what he is and always has been. Matchup nightmare for the 3 spot similar to Haugh for Florida. Not many teams have a 6’9 3 man

Recruiting specialist Mark Poop strikes again. Apparently “Leading” for all 3 guys at one point, now it’s Hall to St. John’s, Kohler to BYU and Mitchell is “up in the air”

Kohler and Mitchell still aren’t eligible so who knows. And hall going elsewhere is a blessing.

Guess u think Cal and Pitino are boyscouts. Or coach k or Roy. All had issues and controversies. And so on.

The other poster acts like Bruce pearl or pitino are some desperate souls and will take anyone. Pitino has been to tons of final fours and technically has 2 titles. Pearl took auburn to 2 final fours.

The point is u have to be willing to do what it takes to win big. Im not surprised u missed that obvious point.
