Only injury was to the point guard that couldn't shoot
JQ was hurt from prior season and was wasted money as was mo
Grade school coach could have picked better group
Yeah...that's logical and not the least bit over dramatic LMAO

Off the top of my head these are the injuries I remember (Not giving Pope a pass, just stating factual injuries). I'm sure there were more.

Oweh - Turf Toe that caused him to miss most of the summer conditioning and team building practices
Lowe - Shoulder suffered in blue/white game, never fully healthy and eventually shut it down
JQ - Knee swelling (I won't count anything before the St Johns game, everything he missed after counts as injury)
Diaboute - Missed several games with a rolled ankle
Noah - Missed at least 2 games (that I remember) with a rolled ankle
Hawthorne - Injured in practice and could not break his redshirt as a result when we needed bodies
Potter - Injured back in practice and could not break his redshirt as a result when we needed bodies
Kam - Broke his foot and missed 5-6 weeks

He played half his college career wearing a dook uniform.

Would you feel the same way if it was a Louisville player?
Why would anyone gaf? If a player ends up at UK from duke or Louisville, it screams "I made a mistake on my first choice, now I'm going to a better place".
This is about money, stage and fit, nothing more. Not sure why you're trying to create drama.

That's the thing...Pope and the staff have the clearest picture of what they need, what they don't, and whether or not a certain player will fit in with what they have chemistry wise. I have always been a believer that in basketball, you absolutely need talent, but having an entire team bought in is without a doubt the key to hitting team goals
Well said

Hall was eligible to transfer, and I would have gone for the sure thing. Plus, UK needs a small forward, as Kam is injured, and you can't count on him.
He played for 4 teams in 4 years… .zero NCAAT appearances.
He’s a sure thing alright. He’s sure to be a ballhog, he’s sure to cause lockerroom issues and he’ll make sure we would be a sure thing for the NIT.

Maybe Pope will purify him
