I’ve heard more and more people not tuning in or turning it off than I ever have before, I’m 48 and I used to plan my evenings and weekend around the game but not this year. Sad to see where the program is and the staff has given me zero faith they know how to fix or will fix it.
I don’t think these guys can be coached. But that’s on Pope for recruiting them.
Every one of them will be coached up by their next coach.

They can be coached up, but it's going to require someone with more testicular fortitude than Pope.

It's obvious we aren't well coached. The only time we've looked good this year is when we get down 20 points and completely abandon the way the staff wants them to play. Jimmy Dykes basically said that tonight as well.
I was at a luncheon when Cal was hired after Billy G. Cal said he had been hoping UK would call him after Tubby left. Really wanted the job. Didn’t get a call.
At luncheon after he was hired he fired a shot saying “ now you need me and it cost you a lot more”.
Absolutely sickening that this is where UK athletics are. This team can leave now for all I care. I’m sorry I know some will never say enough like when Cal was here but there’s no way to defend what is happening.
He wasn’t acting like a hof coach. He was deserving to be ran out of town. Not the fans fault Mitch screwed us all.

But cal took UK nowhere for the better part of his last 10 years here but especially the last 5 years for certain. Cal mailed it in here. Arkansas has breathed a little life back into him but that isn’t life we would have had here.

We didn’t run Cal out of town. If not for his Arkansas talks…he’d likely still be coaching here.

If MB would hire Bruce Pearl, I would drive Pope to the airport. But he won't. If he were going to, he would have. MB will hire Scott Drew or worse. And not give a crap.

This team has 3-4 really selfish guys who totally destroy any team chemistry or team identity. It’s been that way all year.
I clearly said the better part of the last 10 years. There was 3 good years during his last 10 here. 3 out 10 sucks with the talent he pulled in.

Again? Cal didn’t go further than we did last year in the tournament. They also had a losing record in the sec, was a 10 seed vs us being a 3, and had an overall worse season than us with better talent. Cal is washed.
I agree. Cal deserved more years. NCAA seeds are a representation of how good of an overall season a team has. Here are the seeds Kentucky had under Cal. We will probably never have another run like this in my life time.

Yeah and that "down 20" offense has been scouted now so don't look for other teams to fall victim like Tennessee did.
Cal leaving was one of the worst things that could happen under Mitch Barnhart...because it gave him back the keys. I got threats made against me for saying this...to the ******** that threatened me...I WAS RIGHT
