Pope needs a Defensive Coordinator

I was thinking throughout the game how our guards "playing small" and getting bullied by the opposition guards (regardless of actual listed size) was VERY reminiscent of the downward trend years under Cal. We're the ones having to hand the ball off around the perimeter and the other team is cruising past us to the hoop.

I do think Pope is proy actually incompetent in coaching D...

Even Pope coach with five Caliapri athletics, probably the defence is still the same ...

At least Mark Fox should be fired

He got job because nepotism, he had previous relationship with Pope...

If he can not teach D, replace him with other people

Remember Mark Fox's Georgia team was similar, "good defense" team in theory, but can not force turnover. Sounds familiar?

Probably the reason we suck at D against high level team now... But seems ok with D when playing unathletic teams or cupcakes

We need a defensive guru to be here. With Kentucky money, I do think we can grab some coaches who are good at coaching defense in teams highly ranked in defence
