The majority of this board, and rightfully so, thought this would be a double digit loss. Hell I thought we would lose by 40. We didn’t and probably played the most complete game of the season. I don’t see that anyone has their panties in a wad over it,ever heard of the phrase pleasantly surprised. But to say the ship has been righted and we can all back off pope and he is the right man for the job afterall seems to be contention between the fanbase. One, two, or even three games is not going to be the deciding factor on the above in either direction. For now the wind is still blowing in the wrong direction with the massive inconsistency on effort on overall team play. But those, like me, who don’t think pope is going to make it, will certainly enjoy the win, and hope like hell that this game serves as a catalyst for a season turn around. Arkansas turned theirs around last year against us, maybe the same just happened for us this year against them.
