I can see Dent wanting to

I can see Dent wanting to play at UK over Xavier!
Right. I mean, it's cool to be loyal to your coach, but when your future is at stake, that loyalty needs to take a back seat to what is a smart business decision.
Playing at Xavier, he won't get even half the exposure he will get at UK and he would most likely be a part of a top 5 offense at UK. This is a no brainer.

Agbim isn’t happening, we don’t seem to be interested

I'm ok with that. He's a PG, but doesn't pass all that much, compared to how much he shoots. I'm not sure his defense holds up to the guys like Thomas or Collins, which seems to be a focus at PG for Pope.

Why’s that? His team is done playing. UK can certainly make an offer and still be playing. Matter of fact it might get him engaged to the team this year!
I meant in regard to a visit
Sure UK can make an offer, but I would think the staff is too busy with the upcoming game to spend time with him on a visit

I want Collins nowhere near Kentucky. He is mid as hell. Dent/smith/thomas/hargress are the only options. Thornton to if he enters

There's going to be a lot of names (of course) that come up, but only some are going to be at the elite level in all the areas we need to be on the short list.

I'm already convinced that Pope and his staff will be all over this. But most importantly, the kind of players he brought in this year was evidence to my minds eye that it's more about the personality and feel together with all the other moving parts, that CMP is looking at here.

His evaluation in bringing in the players we have now was an amazing thing to see. I'll trust in his final word.

That said, I'd love to see a Dent/Smith/Thomas/Agbim type player come in to join the squad for next year. As long as he fits well, and is the right kind of player and mindset, we'll be alright no matter who it is we get.

They can definitely keep him. Hes mostly a hustle and guts player, which is fine, but he wont cut it vs the sec elite. Definitely not at that price.
Uhh, if he can cut it versus B1G elite, he can cut it against SEC elite. Thats not a huge jump.
