Yeah, it’s funny. Not saying that highly rated recruits don’t work out most of the time but Kyle and CD are two of our best players now.

Serious Candidate--When UConn picked up Nick Evers, Ta'Quan Roberson from Orange NJ entered to portal. He was originally with Penn State, and played for DePaul Catholic . He had an offer from Rutgers under the Ash error.


Last year, his stats were:

197/338 (58.3%) 2075 yards, 12 TD, 6 INT.
Rushing 46/120, 2 TD.



He throws a nice ball:

Yeah, after thinking about it, you are right. The only thing we have is close to home. He obviously left when he saw competition coming in, but that 4 star coming in from Wisconsin has not done squat. This guy had a decent (not lights out) season for UConn, considering how bad the team was. But he would be behind Ajani and fighting it out for 3rd string.

Maybe a G5 transfer will work for him.
