I'm sure Pike has a reasonably good idea as to who is staying and who is leaving, so he knows what the needs are. The biggest question mark is Cliff. He's obviously not NBA ready, but his handlers might be in his ear.
Geez, with Hugley, who hasn't reached out to him? Half the country is on that list.
If Cliff leaves, hoping C Joel Soriano from St. John’s hits the portal and we go all out for him.

Based on these type threads there has to be a high likelihood that at least 2-3 players won't be returning.
Saw him play a few times this year, he was pretty good. Ran the floor really well.
Soriano stays when Tricky Ricky comes. SJU has lots of nil money. They can throw away all their brown bags now.
Don't want to derail the thread, but what's taking so long with Ricky? The SJU job is clearly his if he wants it. I wonder if the delay is because... he's looking for a better landing spot.

Pike flew from ewr to St Peterburg Florida thus am to have an in-house with Temple Power forward Jamille Reynolds and his family.

I wonder if he's 100% or if he will be 100%.. He had an impressive 2021-2022 season, then knee injury, then played in only 8 games this season and decided to sit out the rest of the season for mental health reasons and also due to a nagging injury... Also had the 5 month suspension in early 2021 due to felony charges related to a 2020 car theft... (Apparently he was with a friend who stole a car)... Reinstated when felony charges were dropped, although some misdemeanor charges were still active back when he was reinstated...Antwone Woolfolk knows him well, both having played for Brush HS in Ohio, so I'm sure Antwone has provided the staff with useful information regarding Hugley..
Reynolds and Hughley are both big men that will want starter minutes. Not a good sign for Cliffs return if we are so quickly acting on these two targets
Ru looking for power forward who can backup a center. Has nothing to do with Cliff as they think he is returning. Also will look for combo guard someone line Primo Spears or Nick Timberlake. They are looking at several others as well as several

Reynolds and Hugley aren’t PFs unless if we just want to not play defense anymore. Hopefully we’re just adding depth bigs and maybe think of pushing Woolf to a backup four.
Or we can all let Pike do what he does. Lol
He took Cliff to school when we played Temple. How tall is he?

Yes, just like everyone said last year yet we were one of 5 schools to have 0 guys hit the portal.
What in my comment suggested I didn’t trust Pike? I think Pike is a great coach. I was simply saying these guys are centers, not power forwards, which may mean something about what we have next year. If it’s just perhaps a reiber replacement, then I’d be very happy Addis quality depth. However, it’s certainly a little worrisome that these guys are probably not looking to be a depth center and makes me a bit worried about Cliff.
