Spurrier says he dislocated his knee but no broken bones or full ligament tears. It's still a serious injury, but maybe not career ending.

Have to tear at least three ligaments to dislocate knee. Not all may require repair, though. Tough road to recover but can be done, fortunately no mention yet of any nerve damage (happens in about 40% of knee dislocations with poor outcomes.)

Great kid by all accounts, lots of prayers headed his way.

I thought I read earlier that the fibula was broken, too..? Either way, I'd love to see him make a comeback one day.
