Well, the connection UK’s Billy Gillispie era doesn’t give me warm and fuzzies.
But I guess I won’t hold that against him.

C'mon, Billy was a hoot. You just had to be tough. Sounds like you need a Poptart!
VJ Edgecombe.....JaKobe Walter.......Keyonte George and Langston Love (been injury prone) all were Brooks recruits.
Big time addition if he joins the staff. Perfect-he's about same age as Hart (mid 40's) and brings recruiting chops/connections all over the country.

Looks like he’s going to be the guy. Lead recruiter for VJ at Baylor
Here’s one with the source.
We can’t get Drew but we’ll take his best assistant haha
Too bad VJ officially signed with Baylor 5 days ago. I'd love to get ABIII on staff. However, there is risk he simply sees flirting with Kentucky gets you paid!
Brooks and Hart is looking like a pretty good duo if it happens

I’m hoping it’s close to a done deal since it’s leaking.
Now I’m gonna ask about the powerball.
Seriously though, then the question is who are the few players he might bring?
Well if we can’t get Scott drew I guess we’ll settle for his lead assistant and best recruiter
That would be nuts! I read above, VJ signed with Baylor 5 days ago; but dont players ask to be released from those on occasion. Heres to hoping!
Can he be released from NLI if his lead recruiter leaves?
What is the status of Jason Hart? Torres is acting like it's a done deal, but I haven't heard anything.
He was just announced not long ago I believe
UkAthletics.com has the staff updated
NLI does not matter in college athletics. IF a player wants out they are always released at this level of sports. The backlash and negative recruiting would kill a program if they didn't.
If Pope can steal Brooks from Baylor that is an A+ staff and we will not have to worry about recruiting.
I'd say Edgecombe might have been one, but it sounds like he signed his NLI a few days ago. So, I'm not sure. He's apparently a fantastic recruiter though.
Don’t let brooks anywhere near that Mexican restaurant down there
This hire is BIG-TIME!! He is Drew's top assistant. He has massive connections at the recruiting level.
That would be a damn nice staff.
I like what Torres has to say. He's very good at synthesizing stuff, but my gosh that big mouth is a distraction when it's working. He's like a puppet.
Or Scott Drew's wife and mother-in-law!!!!!
