I realize that he is a great player but Clemson cannot afford to be his little ***** and answer to all of his demands. A defensive end is not worth it.

nimdiche and his h.s. coach have come out disputing that article and calling the author a liar basically. Personally, I have a hard time believing the author just made it up and believe that little brother nimdiche likes to run off at the mouth without thinking things through.

to have a big let down each year. Hell, they won the acc last year but another loss to USC, had a disappointing overall record, and had an embarrassment to WVU that left a bad taste in toothless mouths of their hillbilly fans. I wonder if they are kissing too much *** and trying to recruit the hotshots and that's creating a lack of team unity and success on the field. They have pulled in some really, really good players lately.

...this guy strikes me as this year's version of Cam Newton: He's using his commitment to Clemson as leverage to entice some rich football school to sweeten his pot.

Once Texas, Bama, LSU or USC (the real USC) buys his mamma a new 2012 Ford Escalade, he's going to drop Clemson like a hot potato.

has the chance to actually become another Springdale HS - Arkansas - Nutt fiasco. Ole Mitch Mustain was the Parade HS player of the year and brought like six of his high school team with him. Thinks went downhill and 'family' got involved which progressed to Nutt's firing.

This could get interesting for Clemson and/or OM.

Nkemdiche= #1 player in America
Wayne Gallman= 4 star RB, offers from everyone, rated the 214 ranked prospect in America by 247
David Kamara= 3 star CB, ofers from Illinois, MSU, Ole Miss, Wake Forrest, and Tulane by Rivals
Ryan Carter= NR S, offers from ASU, ECU, USM, Tulane, and Ole Miss

Everybody is acting like its Nkemdiche and then a bunch of garbage. That is completely wrong. The only guy thats questionable is Carter, but he is a D1 football player in his own right. Schuessler doesnt count b/c he is a walk on. MSU would have taken any of those guys minus Carter

Saw this from the New York Times:

Robert Nkemdiche has taken Clemson out of the tough spot he seemed to put them in last week when he told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution he might give Mississippi a closer look if Clemson did not offer high school teammate Ryan Carter a scholarship. But in a telephone interview Sunday, Nkemdiche said Carter's recruitment would not affect his commitment to the Tigers. "Of course I would want to play with him," Nkemdiche said of Carter. "But if it doesn't work out, I'll still go to Clemson." Nkemdiche said he never demanded that Clemson's coaches pursue Carter. ... "I didn't give Coach Swinney an ultimatum about anything," Nkemdiche said. "I hope he doesn't feel obligated to offer anybody a scholarship because of my commitment."

assistant coaches to fire. They don't have an especially tough schedule but if they drop the opener to Auburn in Atlanta, the pressure will be on big time. AU, FSU, Va Tech, and then USC. He can only afford to drop two of those considering he's likely to lose one he should win.

we'll see a picture of Nkemdiche holding up a poster of a stick figure in a week.
