Very sloppy and unnecessary penalties held Cramer from absolutely running away with this one. Gonna have to play a much cleaner game against a really good lincolnton team next week.
Until last year, Thomasville was 29-0 against West Davidson, but have lost two in a row. Tough homecoming opponent.
Yeah I know, it was bound to happen soon or later. The Lexington, and Tyro area has built up a bit the past few years. Central Davidson is now 7-1 beating Roundabout high school.
Congrats to Cramer and StormsBrewing. What worry's me is us having to come there, next week, after a very emotional game. I'm afraid we could come in flat, and that cannot happen against a good Cramer team.

They got some big boys!! Lincolnton should be fine but don’t let them stay in it.
Burns Bulldogs02, in 1993 (a team that won the title) we had a big game, here, lots of hype, Can’t recall for sure who it was, but I believe it was Maiden, and we won.
The very next week we go down to Dallas and play North Gaston, who wasn’t having a good year. Most everyone thought it would be an easy win… In the fourth quarter, the score was tied and they attempted a field goal for the win, which missed. Seems like we ran it back to win the game.
I recall how flat our team looked…After last night’s game, as emotional as that was, I can see how we might struggle. Hope our staff gets the team up for it and stresses that they have to play hard. Cramer is a good team, whose two losses came against good teams. If we could maybe wear them down some, like you did…Also hope we can come out of it without injuries. You’d mentioned their size.
Well, and their playing a full slate of winless or 2 win teams. They went 3-0 few years ago against teams like Chatham Central, North Stokes before playing teams in CCC.
The sad thing is that three of South’s wins are against teams in Thomasville’s conference, by a combined score of 56-7.
Just curious, roster count for Carver and do they have a JV?
Basically, how are their numbers?
To their credit, SD was able to go 1-5 when they beat a really bad WD, and Lexington another year.
Haven't had a chance to see Carver in person this year sadly, reporting scores I find news highlights and online. Might get a chance to come up to Winston next week or week after against Walkertown.
