Cramer is a good team. Tough as nails.
Max Davis for Burns is absolutely slept on in every top 10 individual category . Kid had 5 TDs tonight and one was called back for 85 yards. Cannot wait to hear what his numbers were. His totals have to be close to 1000 on the ground and who knows how many TDs.
Had to be the absolute worst officiating crew I've ever seen. Burns beat Cramer AND the refs tonight

By the way that's Burns' 30th straight win against a Gaston County school. Last loss against them was 2018

Got to watch some of this game on NFHS…Cramer is a scrappy team, but it looked like they might have got tired later in the game… I think Burns could have scored again in the last few minutes, but opted to run the clock.

They are a good team, very much improved from the past few years. QB & RB are both really good and that WR they have is really difficult to cover but I agree that they seemed to wear down in the 4th quarter. In my opinion the difference in non-conference competition was a factor. Burns was much better prepared for a tight game than SC.

I agree with you, that sums it up well. It looks to me like the Bulldogs wore them down the way Shelby did. SC has a fast quarterback, but y’all were ready for him.
Congratulations on taking the number one 4A spot in the conference, this early, while the rest of will have to battle it out until maybe the end of the season. Hope it comes in good for getting Burns home games in the playoffs, and I believe it will.

Pisgah 41
West 26
Final

West was just physically dominated by Pisgah’s offense.

Landon Pope
47 carries 316 yards 5tds probably 250+ yds after contact.
Pisgah with 2 pass attempts on the night. 1 for a TD

Really enjoyed watching Pisgah last night. They know their identity and everyone knew who was getting the rock, West just couldn’t stop them.

I think you can give Brevard some problems, similar to the Franklin RB. Brevard’s offense is elite but they’ve struggled some stopping the run.

Pisgah can throw and show more explosion/ big plays than last night but our identity with this group does need to be, “We’re going to punch you in the mouth!” And I believe this is the TYPE of win Pisgah WANTED against West because I know West’s “Threepeat” chant last year pissed some of the boys off greatly. Not the only motivator but it helped. 🤣

If we can truly play a clean game, we can cause some issues for people and yes I feel much better about lining up with Brevard than I did 3-4 weeks ago. Franklin is good but we aided them greatly with poor disciplined penalties and a self-inflicted turnover for short field. Penalties were better against West just still need to protect possession of the ball.

You poor Mayberrians, you turn into cannibals every season. Eating your own. From the aged, defensive and victimized subject to the belligerent, narcissistic bully. Kids stuff! One would think that the folks in the Granite town were as psychotic as the characters in Midnight in the Garden of Good & Evil! I don’t know, maybe the moon has more affectation in that part of the woods?

In Reidsville's 42-0 win, Kendre Harrison had 3 TD receptions - 34 yards from Dionte Neal, 12 yards from Neal and 20 yards from Tyson Broadway. Total 7 catches for 129 yards.

Neal had 4 receptions for 113 yards, also threw for 83 yards (4 of 6), and ran 3 times for 30 yards and 1 TD.

Braxton Johnson completed 9 of 14 passes for 168 yards, Neal was 4 of 6 for 83 yards and Broadway 2 of 3 for 35 yards.

Rams ran for 111 yards and passed for 286. Rockingham was limited to 73 total yards and 5 first downs, 3 of those in a promising opening drive that reached the red zone. Five other possessions ended in punts.
