West Craven 7-0 over Havelock!! Boys worked hard all week to make this happen! I told em hard work pays off!! They gonna make some more noise too!
I’m proud of the Warhorses tonight!! They lost to Rosman the last 2 years and this young Owen team is trying to make the valley proud again and on this night, they did just that!!

Wooooo!! It’s always great to beat a program like Havelock. Lots of tradition and class. In the end it boiled down to mistakes. I don’t think anyone will beat this team by 24!
Had to play 4th string qb and when he went out just played the wildcat with rbs. The DarkHorses defense actually looked really good. Word has it starting qb plays next week

Salisbury didn't look as good as the team we played last year but we also played a more polished team late in the playoffs last year. They've got the athletes, size and speed as usual but still need a lot of work. They had a lot of penalties, miscues and trouble holding onto the ball. I think they will improve greatly as the season progresses. Last night's game could have been a 42-0 score. FH failed to score twice well inside the 10, had a 78 yard rushing TD called back on a holding penalty and missed a FG.

Part of me not too surprised. Andrews always plays us tough due to the Thomasville High Point rivalry, and Bulldogs let it get in their heads they can't beat the bigger school. Carver might have played up for Parkland but hope they are actually improving.
On a side note, hope the Smith kid with the Bulldogs ok. Looked like a bad injury.
HP also has a new coach, so they may have a little more fire in them than past few years. No idea, as I didn't see the game, but did want to point that out.
