If you thought the last four minutes were bad listening to him with Tom Leach might be worse. He said he liked his players decision making. The right plays that just didn’t go our way. A missed layup. A cut off Oweh’s finger tips. Just didn’t go our way
Yeah loved Lowe's pull-up floater into the hands of TWO bigs. Also loved his garbage 3 attempts.

He's a trash coach. I feel bad for his family, but I'm sure the 12 million dollars they've made off the university in the last 2 years will be a nice compensation package when they leave at the end of the year. Plus, some loser athletic director will hire him at a mid major, so he will get to continue his dorky camp counselor routine over the next 10 years or so.

Yeah, like 10 missed layups just didn't go our way. Moronic turnover after moronic turnover was just incredibly bad luck. Lowe pulling up from three with lots of time on the shot clock was just bad luck. The play he drew up for Lowe to chuck up an off balance airball to put the nail in the coffin was genius, it just didn't work out. This clown Coach might want to have this entire team investigated for gambling on games. This is the 2nd time this **** has happened. That's only thing I can come up with. I've never seen so many moronic turnovers, missed layups, etc...especially from the home team.

Not how we envisioned the start to SEC play and the players are heartbroken, but they’ll get better and be better Saturday. He’s feeling all the pain we’re feeling. In a hard stretch. Only thing to do is grieve, get better, dig in, get better and dig in get better.

Tell me lies, tell me sweet little lies.

He liked their decision making? Their decision making is what cost us!! It must be miserable lying to BBN. I know he can't come out and admit he put a sorry *** roster together as that would torpedo his time here by destroying the locker room.

Good thing I don't watch them (post games comments) anymore.

At some point there’s just too many coincidences to be coincidental.

I agree with every comment in this thread . Kentucky needs to change coaching staffs.i was watching on a split 4 screen & every other team had 3 or 4 coaches COACHING.
Not playing Jelly + Noah + JJ was a travesty. Not having JQ in for rebounding at end was malfeasance.
Pope is a nice human being but a horrible in game coach & worse recruiter . This team is like a three legged chair on a gravel floor.
Gonna be a long year & next year even more frustrating .
Watching Ark- Vandy - Ole Miss - Bama - BYU - Virginia now = We’re screwed💔💣

Pope is feeling the way I’m feeling? So, that means Pope thinks the coach at Kentucky is an abject failure and should resign immediately??? Wow I didn’t expect him to agree

Mark Pope Says Kentucky Having 'a Tough Time Translating' From Practices to Games

That is because the terrible 1st team is playing the more terrible 2nd team in practice.

The last 4:34 was probably the worst basketball that I have witnessed in my 60 years at being a fan. If you were filming a basketball movie and put this in the film, it would be characterized as unrealistic. It looked to me that some players were on the take.

IMO, It’s not health, it is not talent, but dissension between players, between coaches, or between coaches and players. I believe all parties will push the togetherness aspect and play nice but these players do not care about winning. The deposit of their next check is what is of utmost importance.
Disgusting!!!

We missed 6-7 layups tonight, do teams practice layups anymore? Make them all ride the the back of the equipment truck.
Clyde put guys in a bathroom stall for stuff like that. And we all acted like he was a villain for it. Seriously. Gun to head. Clyde or this effing stiff? Hell, I’ll go pick Clyde up and drive him back to Lex myself. Piss on this loser.

it may be insignificant to the overall issues, but I wish Fox wasn't on the coaching staff.

never been a fan of a failed coach coming into your program and seems like to me he is always in Pope's ear.
That failed coach is who gave our stiff of a coach his first job. Losers typically stick together.

Exactly, we play against a team who doesn’t defend in practice. I’m not even sure what we practice because we stand around and do nothing to score.

I know I’m like .5% of the board when I say this, but I loved Clyde. Still follow his career. Worked some camps with him forever ago. He’s a super nice dude, but has a nasty streak. I’ve always said it’s what made him so good. At least I knew Clyde had the balls to get stuff done.

He said the final play wanted Lowe to get downhill and he just didn’t get downhill.

He said we will grieve this loss and then get back after it. This was only the third game with Lowe and JQ both, so we will get better.

You know.. (bleh).. we did play pretty solid in the 2nd half. I saw a lot of things I hadn't seen earlier. A lot more chemistry, better passing, a little semblence to what we saw last season. So while we did totally collapse in the end and THAT **** has to get fixed.. I did see improvement in some areas. I think if this team had a little more focus in the final 3 minutes and we hold on to win, we can see some signs of improvement and something to build on.

But.. we lost. And what Pope doesnt get we dont have much more time/losses. He can talk all he wants about having Lowe and JQ for more games, but we are running out of time.

I’m not joking when I say this. I would 100% take Billy G over coach Pope.
